The landlord told us we are able to refund if we contact expedia ourselves. The reasons for wanting a refund and an early check out was due to the loud noise causing from the highway. I would not suggest anyone to stay here because the noise causing from the highway will disturb your sleep. The landlord was well aware of the issue and it can be seen that there were external seals on the window but it still doesn't help in preventing the noise.
