Icelandic Apartments includes 40 beautifully designed rooms and stunning views from shared balconies and some rooms. All our apartments are fully equipped for 2 or 4 guests with kitchen. Great neighborhood with grocery store, gym, restaurant and much more within walking distance. Only 15 min drive from Reykjavik.

This is a multi-level complex building with self-serviced apartments.



The Space:

This cozy studio with a lovely view to the lake and the mountain can accommodate 4 guests, with a double bed and sofa bed.

The Neighborhood:

Great neighborhood with grocery store, bakery, restaurant, gym and much more within walking distance.

Beautiful nature in close proximity. Lake Ellidavatn is in 15 min. walking distance and there are beautiful pathways along the lake. 15 min drive to Heiðmörk, a protected forest area with spectacular craters.



Getting Around:

The closest bus is called: Vatnsendahvarf / Ögurhvarf. It is only a few minutes walk from Icelandic Apartments.

You can take the FlyBus from the airport to the main bus station in Reykjavik and then take the public bus to IA. We recommend renting a car when staying in Kopavogur, as it's located 15 min. from Reykjavik.



Other Things to Note:

We have cameras monitoring the common areas of the building and front doors, for your safety.



Kindly note the water in Iceland has this particular smell because of the sulphur in it . It is in fact one of the cleanest and most delicious drinking water in the world. Unlike in many neighbouring countries, the Icelandic water is free of chlorine, calcium, and nitrate. We can assure you that the quality of tap water everywhere in Iceland is regularly monitored and tested.



We recommend purchasing travel insurance for your trip to Iceland, which covers issues as delayed baggage, travel accidents, weather trip cancellations and emergency overseas medical. EU members can use their European Health Insurance Card in Iceland (medical expenses).
