Overlooking the sea turtles gathering spot on the sunny south shore of Kauai. Enjoy sunrises, trade winds, sound of the surf, starry nights. Sleep to the soothing sound of the surf. Oceanfront King Bed and fine linens, TV with HBO, WIFI, a new split air conditioning system, a well-stocked mini-kitchen, and a separate dressing room with full size daybed and safe. The bathroom features a tub-shower combo and lots of towels. Beach towels, Tommy Bahama beach chairs and umbrella included. Our oceanfront Studio is located on a quiet lane of private vacation homes, 20 feet from the water, and overlooks a sea turtle spot, and out to the Pacific in the exclusive Poipu Beach. This lovely studio is located on the home's 2nd floor nestled on a private tropically landscaped, gated property near white sand beaches, dive, snorkel and surf spots, fine restaurants and two golf courses. We counted 16 turtles from the lanai one day last week: Simply spectacular. The property faces east, and we encourage opening the oceanfront lanai door and let the fragrant breeze blow and the sound of gentle waves permeate through the Studio's spacious sleeping area. Television is opposite the bed. Oceanfront view table for Two for indoor dining. NEW: Handsome desk and chair, original art. NEW: Full-size refrigerator with freezer drawers. NEW: AC Split Air conditioning system. Note: There are two units in this our oceanfront home. The First (Ground) Floor Apartment may be rented by one to two adults only while you are staying with us. Traveling with another couple? Ask about renting the First Floor Apartment . There is a BBQ in the garden dining area and the property is gated. On-site parking. I was just reading this note in our Upper Studio guest book written by a couple on their honeymoon: The position of this bed feels like a grand portal on the whole dynamic flow of creation out there. The view, the coffee, the sunshine and the bird greetings each morning, the ocean before us and the waterfall & tributary with turtles gently grazing all combined to bless each of our days spent here - morning and evening graces. And we slept very well! The scent of Dove soap will be an evocative reminder of our time here. Thank you for such a clean and comfy “nest”. Greg and Rachelle An oceanfront King bed with fine linens, custom-tiled bathroom with tub/shower combo and lots of towels, hardwood floors, custom furnishings, original Hawaiian art work, HD TV, wireless internet service, Bose Wave Radio and Alarm Clock, and a safe are just a few of the many touches. You’ll hear the soothing sound of the surf, and cooling trade winds should be blowing, throughout the studio. Heavenly. The home's outdoor dining area now includes a Weber propane barbecue and is located in a private lush tropical garden. The upper studio's mini-kitchen includes a microwave, toaster oven, a coffee maker, electric kettle, blender, dinnerware, glassware, and a new 32" stainless steel GE refrigerator with two freezer drawers. We love to sit on the studio’s oceanfront balcony and watch the green sea turtles swim below, the snorkelers and divers, and the kayaks and outrigger canoes paddle by. When the cool trade winds are blowing, it just doesn’t get much better. Beautiful white sand beaches and a wide variety of cafes and restaurants are a short stroll or drive. Grocery stores and weekly farmer's markets too. Note: Check-in time is after 4pm. Check-out time is before 11 am. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable – we slept like babies every night. Every amenity we could need was thoughtfully provided, making our stay completely stress-free. The location is unbeatable: just a short walk to the Kukui‘ula Shopping Center for great food and shopping, and only a 10-minute walk to The Beach House Restaurant – the best spot for cocktails, sunsets, and watching surfers ride the waves. The cottage itself was so peaceful and quiet, and watching green sea turtles from the balcony was a dream. Such a beautiful and romantic place – we couldn’t have asked for a better honeymoon. This studio has definitely been our favorite. Not only was it spotlessly clean, roomy, perfectly appointed, and nestled in a quiet neighborhood relatively close to everything you might need, being able to sit on the lanai to watch the turtles (and a huge school of fish - slightly less visible) was incredible. At any one time we saw no less that 7 turtles, either sunning on the rocks or swimming in the channel, AND the high count was 34!!! Didn’t need air conditioning, although it was available. We opened every window that we could and left the doors to lanai open. Heavenly breeze most of the time we were “home”. Bed comfortable. Plenty of towels for our 10 day stay. Thought Poipu beach was a bit closer according to listing. Small public beach in this neighborhood. Just take a walk and look for yellow posts in between two houses on another street. Enjoyed our stay and this beautiful island. From the moment we arrived we felt very comfortable. The space was spotless, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for a cozy stay. The balcony view was to die for. I would love to come back in a heartbeat! Again, I apologize for my husband taking the shampoo and conditioner thinking they were mine lol! We did leave (intentionally lol) an unopened bottle of laundry detergent that hopefully someone will use! :) ##### Jamie F. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in Poipu! The property was perfect and very comfortable. Plenty of room and the bed slept great. And yes, we did also love watching the Sea turtles out of our lanai each day. The location is very central to many activities and good restaurants. I highly reccommend. ##### Amy D.
