There were days that we wished the unit had air conditioning but the ocean breeze helped cool down at night. Being so close to the cliffs was perfect for us. We spent many hours watching the waves crash against the rocks and the turtles catching food. Very well stocked kitchen, and a closet full of beach gear: umbrella, beach bags, beach towels, body boards... The separation between the master bedroom and the living room is a Japanese style sliding paper wall, so not a lot of privacy, which did not bother us since it was just the two of us. Also, the condo is located on the lowest floor, below the level of the walkway to the buildings, which means that the windows of the second bedroom and the kitchen are at the level of said walkway. Not an issue in the kitchen, but it makes the second bedroom a bit cave-like.It's very close to the ocean, and we enjoyed sleeping with open windows, to the sound of waves. There is a hiking trail behind the fence along the patio, that gets busy in the morning with hikers and joggers, but it's a gorgeous trail along the coast line, passing by a lava arch, the beautiful Grand Hyatt, Shipwreck Beach, and all the way to beautiful bluffs. Great hikes around the rocks and views were gorgeous and beaches within walking distance. Loved seeing the turtles in the little coves. The unit was one of the best stocked places we've stayed in with any beach gear you could want. The kitchen was equally well stocked with all appliances necessary and plenty of dishes for 4-6 people. We had everything we needed and loved our stay in this roomy unit. We also have to mention that the master bedroom had a very comfortable king sized bed! ##### Lavonne S. Property was even stocked with all sorts of gear like beach chairs, umbrellas, scuba gear for enjoying the ocean/beaches. sits on a spectacular location on cliffs over-looking the ocean with dramatic views. We really enjoyed the sunsets and meeting lots of other residents/occupants gathering to watch the sunset. Property sits very close to both Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Beach. Kauai is definitely one of, if not the, most beautiful places we have ever travelled to. We hope to return soon and would absolutely stay here again. ##### Michael O. My family and I enjoyed our stay here. The checkin process somehow got mixed up so I wasn't able to access the condo right away. I called the number provided and we received immediate assistance! Everything about the condo we adored. from the simple decorative pieces, to the outside lounging area. The breeze through the condo made the Hawaii heat bare able. We would give it a solid 4/5\. The property management team is 5/5! They were easy to get ahold of and very speedy with response. They had said in an email we would have use of boogie boards but none were there when we got there so we enquired. Right away we got use of two brand new ones. The place is well equipped. We did miss having A/C tho and a view from the lanai.
