(224) Located in the ever-popular and upscale Poipu Kai Resort, guests will love this 1900+ sq. ft. spacious, airy, and high-ceilinged home with 4 generous bedrooms. The living room greets you with a plush wrap-around sofa that is a great spot to curl up and stream your favorite TV show or enjoy your favorite movie. Sliding glass doors and oversized windows allow plenty of sunshine to flood the space. Step out onto your private patio and feel the tropical breezes, as you enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon cocktail. And when you're ready for a trek to the beach, remember it's less than 10 minutes to the world-famous Poipu Beach along a green belt. Make sure to keep an eye out for the monk seals and sea turtles! And while you're there, don't forget to stop in to Brennecke's for an open-air lunch or one of their fantastic cocktails. Please note that reservations are recommended for many of our area restaurants and luaus. A large gourmet kitchen will be the joy of the family chef! With stainless steel appliances, and tons of counter space, you'll have plenty of room to create all the family's favorites. There's even a peninsula bar for two. Maybe you'll even feel inspired to try a new Hawaiian dish, like poke or loco moco. The whole family can enjoy those culinary delights together at the adjacent dining table for 8-10. The downstairs primary suite is definitely a treat, with a romantic 2-poster king size bed and access to a private patio where you can also find the beach toys tucked away. The en-suite spa bath is a delight with a large soaking tub, and enormous walk-in tiled shower with seat. Also on this level is a guest room with two twin beds, which utilizes the full hall bath. Upstairs is a guest room with a king size bed, which shares a connected full bathroom with the loft bedroom featuring two twin beds. This highly sought-after location is close to all the incredible shopping and dining in Poipu, as well as the entire south shore. When making dinner plans, be sure to make a reservation. Compared to other rental properties I have stayed in, it was extremely clean. The property managers are very quick to respond to any questions, even over email. The check in/out process is very easy as they provide a lot of explanation. I will note that the parking for this unit is in the corner of the lot, something to consider if you have a very large rental vehicle. We had a Jeep and did not have any issues. The condo is very well stocked with any cooking utensils/pots/pans you may need and includes ample beach accessories as well. The balcony area stays nice and cool during the day due to the shade despite the hot temperatures outside. Overall we had a wonderful stay and it was a great place for our older and younger relatives. ##### Corinne H. The villa was spacious and perfect for our needs. The balconies are perfect for morning coffee or evening chats. The kitchen had everything we needed for in house meals. Location was perfect, close to beaches and shopping. We would absolutely stay here again. ##### Susie R. Maintenance person just walked in one day without knocking or inquiring if anyone was in the unit. Caught our grandaughter off guard. Had to call maint several times to remedy slow draining of tub in upper level. Same with toilet. We ended up having to take a plunger to it several times. Stairwell going up to the unit was not clean when we arrived and stayed that way until we left. Great unit with good amenities but the cleanliness of the area left something to be desired. ##### Allan F. We were a group of 8 adults, there was room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the 9 nights that we stayed. Communication with the property manager was excellent, they were quick to respond to all of our questions. The condo is located on the Greenbelt, a short walk to several wonderful beaches. There is also a great pool and hot tub available for guests use. There is a grill located right downstairs from the condo, we used it for several dinners. The grill is cleaned/serviced daily by the condo association's maintenance crew. We will definitely plan to stay in this condo again the next time we plan a trip to Kauai. ##### Kim C. Having the barbecue at the bottom of the staircase was so nice, we grilled many dinners. Access to the pool was fabulous and needed for those that don't really enjoy the sandy beaches. It was great to have beach chairs and a couple of boogie boards provided during the stay. For future guests who are bringing young children, I might suggest providing a fold-up wagon for ease of transporting beach chairs, boards and other necessities for the walk to the beach. I imagine this would be SO appreciated by your guests. We would definitely rent again. Mahalo! ##### Rachael H.
