There is lots to do close by but it is also only an hour drive to the north shore. Cons: close to other units and neighbors can be noisy, wished there wasn’t carpet (felt like something was mildewed somewhere either in carpet, walls or AC unit), wished for fragrance free soaps throughout. ##### Josiah L. Lovely condo and a prime location at the resort. Have an ocean view, privacy, and breezes off the ocean. Bright, super clean, comfortable, everything new. The grounds are immaculate. The bathroom remodel is great, very nice shower. Kitchen the nicest we have be in at the Plantations, nice pots and pans and utensils. The condo was updated, clean & comfortable. The pictures on the website don’t do it justice! The views of the ocean were amazing! It was very quiet & relaxing. The location was awesome! It is walking distance to restaurants & shops and a short drive to additional beaches, shops & attractions. The owner was very responsive to my emails. The staff on site were very friendly. They never showed up on the days they were scheduled to the point we had to track down clean towels and toilet paper. Front desk was notified as well. (Perfect for two; we would have found it tight for more.) The location is terrific; very walkable to the Sheraton property nearby with great restaurant/bar area, and the shopping center across the street. Bed is very comfortable and the kitchen is very well equipped with dishes, pots and pans etc. Parking easily available nearby. No facilities actually on the property (i.e. bell/baggage service, sundries shop, business center, fitness center) and not a great fit for working remotely, but was able to make it work for the few hours I had to do. Kiahuna Plantation is a peaceful oasis among the busy resorts in Poipu, and this unit ranks among the best! It was very quiet, and furnishings, bedding and well-equipped kitchen made it feel cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed the many opportunities for a good daily walk, the lounge chairs on the lawn overlooking the waves, and the proximity to the shopping and restaurants right across the road. We did not get a chance to check out the pool and fitness center, but perhaps on our next visit! We would definitely rent this unit again! We had a wonderful time. The property is absolutely beautiful, the beaches are big and sandy. Best beach out the south shore in our opinion. Located close to shops, main little town and other beaches it is a great location. Condo itself is just as listed. Great view, air conditioning and fans were great, comfortable bed and nice bathroom, beautiful Garden AND Ocean view. One part that was confusing was the pool is not near the beach on property you actually have to cross the main road and go up the hill to access the pool, gym and tennis courts. There is poolside service and a little restaurant just not conveniently located. Would stay again, was a wonderful trip. ##### Michelle C. Even with detailed instructions for the TV we never could figure out how to use it. However, the unit was very nicely furnished and clean with the exception of a little bit of mold in the shower niche. The bed was very comfortable and had a great dresser for clothing. Loved the pictures and decor. The view was beautiful. Great Lanai !! It was well equipped with beach amenities as well!! Mahalo, Ken!!! From the moment we stepped foot onto the grounds we knew it would be hard to leave. The condo itself and views from the lanai were beautiful, even more so than the pictures convey. Everything was so clean! The condo was spotless and the grounds were perfectly manicured. My only regret was that we did not book a longer stay. We utilized the beach hut for beach towels, snorkel gear and beverages. The process was easy and convenient. There are restaurants, shops and local coffee in close walking distance. Two nights a week there is a luau at the hotel next door and we enjoyed hearing the music while we sat on the lanai and watched the stars. (Pro tip): You could even walk the beach and catch some of the show. Other good to know info: -The beach gets busier throughout the day, but it never felt over crowded. If you're an early bird (out before 9) you'll mostly have the beach to yourself. -Parking is first come first serve, but we never had an issue finding parking close to the condo. -There is so much that is walkable in the area including the turtles at Poipu beach. If you are on the fence about booking this property - this is your sign to do it! You will not regret it! I'd still be there right this moment if I could! ##### Darcie B.
