This custom designed residence is a timeless classic, featuring a two-story main home with four bedrooms and four bathrooms, along with an attached private guest quarters and bathroom. The first thing you will notice when you arrive is the immaculate landscaping, showcasing a variety of unique, tropical flora. Step inside to an open layout offering a grand 3,881 square feet of interior space with an effortless flow between spaces. Floor to ceiling windows and sliding doors throughout the home create a pleasant indoor outdoor living experience with garden and mountain views and an abundance of natural light. A variety of appointed spaces provide cozy couches and comfortable nooks for relaxing with a book or planning your next excursion! An abundance of ceiling fans help to keep the home at a pleasant temperature and are ideal for circulating Kauai’s cooling trade winds, air conditioning location in the Master bedroom & lower living area. The chef of your group will be delighted with the expansive kitchen, thoughtfully designed with a center island with gas cooktop and complete with all new stainless steel appliances including, side by side refrigerator, double ovens, dishwasher, and wine fridge. Gorgeous marble countertops in the kitchen also match the adjacent dining room table top. Choosing bedrooms will be a fun challenge as each of the five bedrooms offers a unique view and charm, each lovely in its own way. All of the bedrooms are spacious with comfortable bedding, lots of natural light, closet space, and ceiling fans. The master bedroom features a beautifully tiled ensuite bathroom with an impressive soaking bathtub and stand-alone shower. The star feature of this lovely home is of course the in-ground swimming pool! Accessible from multiple rooms, the back lanai grants you your own personal oasis with stylish natural stone tiles, covered outdoor dining area, and uncovered patio space for soaking up the sun or spending an afternoon floating in the pool. Very close to restaurants, beaches & shops. We loved the pool to come home to & relaxing on the lanai. Some in our group said the bedrooms were a little warm. There was ac on the main floor & in the pool house. I would maybe add a small tv to the pool house. And it would be nice if the pool lights worked. We would definitely come to this property again. The house is located in a great location, about 5 minutes drive to Poipu Beach! Great space, plenty of room and very basic. I am not given it 5 stars because the pool was in the description as heated, and 10 days before our arrival I was notified that the heater no longer worked. We were greatly disappointed, as this is one of the main reasons I selected this property. The water in the pool was uncomfortably cold that even the kids (they love water) could not enjoy it or even want to get in. Rather disappointing since it would have been a great way to unwind after our long day of exploring outside the house. Though this may not seem like a huge deal to others we did actually cancel a prior reservation at another house and paid more just for the pool. To be notified after the fact when we could not make other arrangements was unfortunate and the response was just a "sorry for the inconvenience". There were other hiccups during the duration of our stay and the host did communicate accordingly which was appreciated though I believe matters could have been handled better. I understand this is a new rental and things happen. There are lots of kinks to work. I would hope that with our communication throughout our stay helps make this an even better property for future families. ##### Norma C.
