"It was a lovely one bedroom apartment with a private pool and killer sunset views. It's about a 10-15 minute walk to town but coming back is a challenge. If you do not walk, prepare to spend 10-15$ each way. Even then, some of the taxis will not go up to the highest apartment as the hills are too steep. My wife's fitbit said she walked the equivalent of 1.5 Empire State buildings in stairs..... (she would not ride the motorbike up the steep hills)
We loved the pool and views. Creature...
"The view to Shark Bay was outstanding from our suite. There are 276 steps from the sea to Reception at the top. A great workout everyday. The pool area is beautiful - a small gym served me well. The property is high on a hill top w a steep walk down (or up) to the main road or villages - the property is a ways from the main villages so you’ll need taxi or hotel transport w various drop and pick-up times - the main dining room/restaurant was lovely - great food and service when we choose to dine "
"PROS: Staying in the villa was a very cool experience and the views were amazing. The bed was also very comfortable and the duvet was great. In addition, the staff were attentive and they would pick us up from our villa to reception in a golf cart for free (steep hill but could easily be walked).
CONS: Although we liked the villa, one significant downside was that there wasn’t a proper door on the bathroom (or a roof) meaning that you could hear everything going on in the bathroom in the...
"The resort had power shut off daily from 10am till 3pm. The safety box did not work. Area to store clothes very limited. The resort is approx 30 yrs old and appears to have nothing done since built. The walkways to cabins are very primitive with very few handrails and some areas the walkways were near high drop offs. The walkways were very scarcely illuminated and wiring was spliced and tapped together and laying across walkways along with water pipes creating trip hazards. I would not recommend...
"You can swim off the beach with a snorkel mask and find one of the best reefs including sea turtles, and if you wake up early before the tour groups or are lucky black tip reef sharks too. Area was clean, and pools were gorgeous. Good breakfast but poor layout creating a few traffic jams. Also the amount of stairs or hills you have to walk is too much for some, also expect taxi to charge 400B one way"
"This hotel is in a great area full of restaurants and small shops and walking distance to the beach.
The staff are amazing. Friendly and helpful
The breakfast is off the menu and is very good.
Stayed 4 nights and would stay here again"

"Stunning beach, snorkelling, pools!!! A lovely resort. Must rent a motorbike to get around the island but the front desk helped us with this, 300 baht/day. Convenient free transfers to Sairee and back- helpful for checking in and leaving. "
