The staff were so incredibly kind and welcoming to us. Our room had a breathtaking view of Mt Fuji and Lake Kawaguchiko, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent. We slept very well on the futons that were prepared on our tatami mats. When we left, the staff gave us several gifts to take home with us. Also, we really appreciated the shuttle to and from Kawaguchiko Station. The hotel and dining staff were incredibly helpful and gracious, which we really appreciated as it was our first time staying at a ryokan. We especially enjoyed and recommend the dining experience, where we were able to try a wide range of local foods that were carefully and thoughtfully prepared and served. The onsen was a very nice amenity as well and had a great view of Mount Fuji. The hotel shuttle was also convenient for pick up and drop off at Kawaguchiko Station.
