There were other vehicles parked there too. Presumably the owners. Apartment is on the second level and there was construction on the first level during our check out day. It was a heavenly escape at the end of each day! The drive to/from campus was a peaceful 15 min. drive with little/no traffic once outside the immediate campus area. The attention to detail in the design elements was impressive. The beds and linens were far superior to any other property we have enjoyed in the past. The bathrooms are gorgeous! The host was extremely responsive and thoughtful in the basic supplies provided. A new Dollar General a short distance from the property served as an easy source for the additional items we needed for the weekend. From booking thru checkout (& beyond) we could not have asked for a better host. When our family meets in Knoxville for future visits, we will not look for will not look for different properties. This is definitely not a deal breaker, though, as there were still plenty of rooms (3), with plenty of beds (7), and plenty of bathrooms (2 full). The showers were amazing and everything was very modern and clean. We really enjoyed the fact that the property had a fire pit as well, as it was a treat to be able to enjoy TN at night around a fire! The property was close to downtown, but the city (unfortunately) isn't very "traversable" by Uber so that is something to keep in the back of your mind if you plan on staying in the city. Overall, we are very impressed with where we stayed and would recommend it to anyone who may be traveling to Knoxville in the future. ##### Tyler G. The interior is well designed and spacious. I especially like the airy, open format of the common living space with an inviting wet bar, kitchen island and a fireplace; the large back deck and the artistic tile work and fixtures in the bathrooms. 😊 This house is family friendly with a very large kids’ room and laundry room (much more than just a space for the washer/drier). I believe we were the first guest family to occupy the house. We had all the basics in the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen. It can be augmented with additional bedroom furniture (desk and chairs) and a few hangers in the closets (large walk-in for the master bedroom). This place was AMAZING!!! Everything is new and updated!! The only thing it dosent say in the listing is that there are lots of stairs… if you aren’t able to climb then that would be an issue… BUT it looks like he is gonna have a bottom floor too… so no worries!!
