Séjour de 3 nuits en septembre 2025 ### 2/10 – Terrible #### Ana D. 18 sept. 2025 I asked the host when I booked this accommodation whether or not the room had been treated with chemical deodorizers, he responded that the lobby was, and if I wanted to cancel I was free to. I responded that the lobby didn't matter only the rooms themselves and asked him to clarify. He did not respond, the next day I asked again and he said the room was not treated with perfumed cleaning products. When I got there, it proved otherwise. I tried to air out the room but it was no use. I was in physical distress from the cleaning products used. He insisted that there was no problem with the room, they had even "treated" the room with an ozone machine so that it would not be perfumed. But that made no sense, if the room hadn't been treated with perfumed products, what would the need be for the ozone machine. In any case, it was not possible for me to stay in the room. I had to find last minute accommodations somewhere else, at significant financial and emotional cost. This was my first time using vrbo, and it has made it extremely unlikely that I will ever use it again. I feel strongly that my payment should be refunded. ##### Ana D.
