New Rental Unit just joined the Cove Realty program for 2025! Great owner in the Cove family who upgraded to a larger home! Located in the Sound-Side condo complex, The Gables, this Outer Banks Rental provides access to a community pool while being just a short drive to a public beach access (approximately 1 mile away)! Other accesses are close by. This 2-story town-home offers original art and photography throughout the home, which is complimented by an attractive color palette. The open floor plan on the first floor is light and airy, featuring a spacious living area, fully-equipped kitchen, dining area, half-bathroom, laundry room, and a patio. It has three spacious bedrooms. The primary bedroom has a walk-shower and soaking tub. Two bedroom have two twin beds and a set of twin bunkbeds, and share a hall bathroom with a shower/tub combination. New water heater installed in fall of 2024\. This Outer Banks Rental unit will perfectly accommodate a small family. The Gables Community is located in Kitty Hawk of the Outer Banks with a location that is central to the beach, sound (waterway between island and mainland), the Wright Brothers Memorial, shopping and restaurants, golf (including miniature golf), movie theater, and so much more! This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly.
