When you see the house for the first time you may think "We're staying in a garage!" and that's because you are! I met several people while renovating/decorating the house and found out about 50 years ago there was a skate sharpening business in the basement of the main house on the property. The grandmother of the person that did the skate sharpening lived in this short-term rental. I do not know when the garage was converted into a residence but it was at least 50 years ago.
There are two houses on this unique property but each unit is completely separate and self-contained. There is an elderly tenant that lives in the main house on the property and leads a quiet life so there is an unlikely chance you will encounter the tenant.
