À qui de droit, Je suis rendu à me demander si le fait de se servir de Hotels.com pour nos réservations, permettait au hotels de nous louer leur pire chambre. Il m'arrive trop souvent de mauvaises surprises. Premièrement, notre chambre ressemblait aucunement à se que nous avions vu via le site Hotels.com et était même démunie de meubles, seul une ancienne banquette de restaurant faisait office de table. Deuxièmement, la propreté laisse grandement à désirée. Troisièmement, j'ai rien contre les animaux, mais en arrivant, le préposé m'a fait signé un genre de contrat fait à la main, pour certifier que je n'avait pas d'animal avec moi. Je me suis dis à ce moment là, que l'hotel agissait ainsi pour s'assurer de la propreté des lieux. Mais qu'elle fut ma surprise de voir circuler plusieurs chiens dans l'hotel. Quatrièmement, rendu dans ma chambre, je m,aperçois rapidement que le signal WIFI est très faible, rendant l'accès à internet impossible, sauf si je me rend dans le corridor avec ma tablette. Je me rend aussitôt à la réception pour en faire part au préposé tout en demandant de me changer de chambre (il est 4h10 PM) mais il me répond que l'hotel est complet. Je suis septique , car il y avait qu'une vingtaine de voitures à 10h00 PM. Nous sommes quand même en 2020. Donc pas besoin de vous dire que je ne retournerai plus jamais dans cet établissement. It is Motel 6 with a $49 room. So you are getting what you pay for. The staff was polite and good, it is a standard 2 star motel next to a highway in a low volume area in coastal Georgia. Musty smelling, building damage. But the bed was clean and bathroom was clean. It was better than expected in that regard. So if you want a place to nap for a while on a long road trip that is not in your car, and for $49, it is a decent option.

- Some of the Electrical outlets in the room was not working. - Not enough lighting in the room, room was very dark - The fixture in the right pm was old & run down, it could seriously need a replacement of fixtures. - The hot water in the shower was not hot enough, the fixture on it was not working properly - We found different coloured hair on the bedsheet - The night staff was very good & accommodating - The day staff wasn’t very helpful, hubby asked where he can fill water for his bottle. All he did was replied “we do not have water here”. It is alright for a 1 night stay, that’s what we did. There was sketchy people around at midnight plus smell of pot along the hallway of the hotel room despite the hotel is supposed to be non- smoking.

The room was efficient, but could be updated. It needed more window treatment, better TV . The TV had several bright spots , perhaps the way it is mounted. The staff made up for any shortcomings. Very friendly staff.

When we got to the property to check in, our room had be given to someone else so we got the last one available. Even though there was no smoking signs everywhere, the air was very strong of cigarette and other odor. Within 30 minutes of being in our room we spotted 4 small roaches. When we contacted the front desk to ask for bug spray we were told they did not have any and no other rooms were available. I’ve tried getting in touch with corporate but the website for the email doesn’t work correctly and I haven’t been able to find a reachable number.

For the price the location was great. The desk staff was friendly and accommodating. She even kept the coffee bar clean and had fresh coffee even at night. There are ample outlets to charge electronics but not near the bed. The hot water is really hot. Those are the positives. The shower drain was not working well so there was backed up water. A lot of it. The TV had a horrible picture something like light circles on the screen. The fridge is a nice addition to the room but did not work, only the freezer. The walls are paper thin so if anyone leaves or enters next door it can be heard especially if you’re a light sleeper. The towels need to be thrown away if they have as many stains as ours did. They were dingy and small.
