Mountain Green Amenities: Amenities will be Open everyday 9AM to 9PM This large and comfortable Mountain Green Resort studio is located in the resort's main building. You'll have the convenience of a restaurant, deli, fitness area, and racquetball court all housed in the same building, but, the studio's placement in a quieter area of the building offers the best of both worlds during your stay. Killington is filled with things to do in any season. For the snowy months, there is skiing, snowboarding, snowmobiling, snowshoeing, and tubing. The warmer months offer hiking, biking, fishing, kayaking, and golf. If you are looking for something a little more adventurous or something family friendly, there is the Killington/Pico Adventure Park just down the road with a mountain coaster, zip lines, and a jump towner among many other activities. Things to Know This building will undergo roof construction from May 6, 2024, until October 31, 2024, and scaffolding will begin going up around Building 3 on May 13, 2024\. We request guests be careful of the scaffolding and not approach it. The balcony will not be useable during summer construction, though a sheet of plywood will be placed across the slider for you to open for light and airflow. Work hours are typically from 7:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m. on weekdays (evening/weekend work may occur). There may also be times when the construction company will need access to your vacation rental (you will be contacted ahead of time). Both elevators in Building 3 will be down due to maintenance from November 6, 2023, until November 9, 2023, from 7 a.m. through 5 p.m. Mountain Green Amenities: Amenities will be closed until further notice. The shuttle bus will only run on weekends and holidays this winter season! The amenities are managed and controlled by the Mountain Green property management team. Please visit the Mountain Green Resort website to get up-to-date status on amenities by clicking the 'Today's Amenities Schedule' link on the home page. The restaurant is closed for the summer season but will re-open for the winter season. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 4. Security camera details: Cameras are not located in this home! Cameras are located ouside the MG Buildings, They are also in hallways and common areas. Ski shuttle details: A short walk to Killington’s Snowshed Lodge, or take the free shuttle bus! During ski season, a free shuttle bus runs the two-minute ride to Snowshed Base Lodge; every 15 minutes on weekends, every 30 minutes on weekdays. Please note: this home resides in a noise-sensitive area and the owners participate in our Good Neighbor protection program. Our smart home technology will alert our team if excessive decibel or occupancy levels are detected, allowing us to reach out directly with a reminder of maximum occupancy and quiet hours. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). It has a wood burning fireplace. When I made the reservation under the special request section, I asked for extra kindling wood. I never received a reply. However, upon my arrival, the fireplace was sealed with a giant sticker saying that by ordinance of law fireplaces in the whole building had been shut down. (Something about smoke not flowing out properly, lack of maintenance which is a rampant issue in this building). We only rent units with wood burning fireplaces when we travel to Snow destinations, obviously for the warmth and of course for the ambience. Ambience. If someone would have actually read my request for extra kindlingwood, perhaps they could have called me and informed me that the fireplace was not available and offered me alternative options or a refund. That didn't happen. Besides all of this, the unit is dated, the bed is rock hard, and the temperature inside the unit can be difficult to control at times. Times. Beyond that, there was major construction happening in the unit directly above me. As such. From a noise factor it was unacceptable. Vacasa who manages this company has an office on site, however, I never saw a representative in there during normal business hours. I'd love to talk to somebody from that company about this. The review may be modified based on the outcome of a conversation with them. Very disappointed, wouldn't recommend to a friend. Mar 18, 2020 Liked: Cleanliness, location Disliked: Check-in, communication #### Not the Mountain Green Resort it used to be It used to be a nice condo resort operated by one management company. Now it is managed by different companies which means that nobody takes responsibility. There is no reception anymore, so when we didn't get an email with the code, I was running around trying to find somebody who could tell me how to enter the room (apparently, that email got into spam - this must be written on the selling website on the first row saying "no keys! no reception! you'll receive the entrance code! always check your spam folder!"). Cost reduction is the spirit of the resort now: they don't do house keeping or even change towels like in the past; I was able to get our condo's management company on the phone and they promised to bring some shampoo - but no, they didn't do it; massage is listed not just on the printed menu of services in the health club but on the wall sign - and apparently, they don't do massages anymore. Another wall signs reminding about quiet hours and security monitoring hallways after 10pm are like jokes: nobody showed up ever and every night we had to 'enjoy' drunk parties the next door until they couldn't drink any longer at dawn. While the condo itself is good enough, location is great, and pool/steam/sauna/hot tub/restaurant are fine, Mountain Green resort degraded and I won't recommend it to my friends. Feb 6, 2020 #### Ski conference The location of this condo was excellent, just several hundred feet from the Grand hotel and near by lifts. Parking was easy and the space was clean. Dated but clean, I will also say this is not exactly a good place for 4 adults as advertised, Unless they are very close with each other. ##### Cody S.
