This lovely, detached holiday cottage is situated near Beaufort, in County Kerry, with pretty views of Carrauntoohil - the highest peak in Ireland. The cottage is situated next door to the owner's home with off road parking and an open plan living area with a kitchen, dining table and sitting room. Beside the sitting area is a shower room whilst upstairs are two bright bedrooms. Each has a Velux window and its own wardrobe; one has a double bed and the second has twin single beds. Outside is a lawned garden and a gravelled patio with folding chairs. A wonderful holiday home for exploring County Kerry. Note: Although this property is set in a gorgeous location, a car is needed to travel around as public transport is very limited Amenities: Oil central heating. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, TV with Freeview, CD/radio, WiFi. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Off road parking for two cars. We found a garage that has been converted into a holiday home. The interior is functionally furnished as in the pictures. However, I was very disappointed because a) At the entrance I was always smelling a bit of oil, because behind the Garage an oil tank was installed. b) There is no possibility to enjoy the great landscape from the living room. Because the windows were corrugated. Apart from the fact that right in front of the garage is the back entrance of the single-family house. c) When you turned on the water, a loud pump started, which you can also hear throughout the garage. In other words, if I made myself a coffee early, I woke everyone in the house. Hoping that the water is drinking water. d) I have slept on many beds in the world. The beds of this garage are lower standard only. e) From the picnic area you have no view of the wonderful landscape. You just look at the gray roof of the single-family house. f) The waste water from the kitchen, shower and hand basin in the bathroom is not discharged into the sewage system. It is mixed with the rainwater! That's not okay. g) The oil tank behind the house does not have a catchment basin. In the event of an accident, the oil will pollute the environment. I am convinced that this is not OK in Ireland either. Dear provider, if you were to rent such a holiday home, I am convinced that you will ##### Martin B.
