It was cozy and quiet not being on the main strip which made enjoyable to sit outside in the deck at night. Our biggest complaint is the mattresses. The bedroom on the front of the house felt like the springs were completely shot when you laid on them. My husband, kids, and I had a great stay here.; the owner, Matt, is very helpful, friendly, and responsive. The house is really clean and very cute. It’s in an amazing location- super close to the beach, we walked to the beach most nights (less than an 5 minute walk) and enjoyed watching the ghost crabs. The house is right across the road from the Wright Brothers Memorial, which was really interesting. While visiting, I highly recommend taking a wild horse tour, checking out Roanoke Island, and if you have any water slide fans in your group, H2OBX is really fun. It was so nice going out and exploring during the day and knowing we had a clean, cozy house waiting for us to come back to. The house has a wagon you can use for beach supplies and the owners even provide beach chairs and towels, which was so nice and saved us a ton of space in our van since we didn’t have to bring any of that with us.
