Best part of the condo was leaving the window open at night and hearing the waves crashing and lulling us to sleep. We were just steps away from the ocean and loved the option of all the toys that we could use on the beach and in the ocean. The condo was location was great for many reasons… steps away from a private less populated beach, great boogie boarding, Kihei was only a few minutes away, and Lahaina was only 35 minutes away. The split level upper unit was nice as our daughter and friend shared the lower bedroom (2-twin beds) and the upper queen had a nice 3/4 bath. Enjoyed morning coffee on the balcony watching the waves roll in. The pool/patio area was nice for catching rays, sharing a meal, or swimming in the pool. It’s definitely a perk for families with littles not ready for wave action. The condo staff had the room in tip top shape and the grounds were well kept every day! The people were some of the most friendly staff we’ve ever met traveling. Definitely looking forward to booking there for our next trip to the island. ##### Bethany B. The unit is fully stocked. It has a wonderful view of the ocean and the sunset. The office staff are Amazing!! We had some medical issues and they went out of their way to help us. It is right on the beach which is perfect for SUPing, swimming, building sandcastles and reading a book. If you want to stay out of the sand, there is a grassy area right before the beach with plenty of chairs. It is child friendly and they have a fun S’mores night on Tuesdays. We loved our stay at Kihei Sands! It was the perfect location to explore the whole island; we never felt more than 30 mins from everything. Our condo was clean, well stocked and the AC worked very well. The side patio was perfect for morning and evening reading. Pool is just off the beach which was great for the kids.
