Property is exactly as advertised. Very clean, great location, and beautiful lanai. Our host Jillian was a great communicator and went above and beyond to accommodate us! It is close to many excellent beaches and snorkel locations, walking distance to great coffee in the mornings and yet very quiet. I really enjoyed BBQ'ing on the lanai, what an amazing view from there - the pictures do not do it justice! It was roomy and had great patio that was both covered and uncovered making it perfect throughout the day and a great spot for dinner. We were a quick drive to amazing beaches and shops. This Wailea Palms unit is exactly as described, newly renovated and everything we needed for a fantastic trip. We stay in a lot of vacation rentals, and noted that this is the cleanest place we have stayed in a long time. Our other favorite aspect of the condo was the lanai with ocean views. We spent hours on it every day, from eating breakfast in the morning, to afternoon drinks after a day at the beach. We loved this place, and would definitely stay here again. ##### Justin B. The Palms is an ideal location, offering close proximity to various beaches along the Wailea Beach Path and just a 5-minute drive from the Shops at Wailea. The apartment was well-equipped with everything we needed. Although the amenities only included a pool and hot tub, they were very well maintained. Host was super responsive & communicative with details for the stay, the condo is very well furnished (including beach chairs, boogie boards, snorkeling gear, kids toys, etc). The location is close to many food choices (5-10 minutes drive), Safeway close by. Excellent beaches are within 10-15 minutes reach. When we get another opportunity to come to Maui, this is the first place we will check. The unit was very clean and quiet and had everything needed. I loved having spices and cooking oil available so we didn't have to shop around for all of those little items. And there is an elevated walkway inside/hall which could be tricky if you have young daring toddlers. The location was perfect to the shops. The location is a close drive to the best beaches on the island and a short drive to the shops of Wailea as well as the conveniences of Kihei. We have stayed on other parts of the island and if you can stay in Wailea and in this wonderful condo it is well worth it.
