It had big windows that opened up to the picturesque lagoon and landscaping, really giving a peaceful, relaxing vibe. Bedrooms were spacious and nicely decorated, with smart TVs in all bedrooms. There were plenty of comfy seating areas to spread out and enjoy morning coffee. It was only an easy 5 minute walk to the beach and we enjoyed the hot tub in the evenings! There were seven adults and a two year old and we had plenty of room. The hot tub and pool were amazing. Close to the beach with lots of great paths to bike along. The home was clean, spacious and had everything we could have needed. Would recommend to anyone looking for a family vacation. We were there for five nights with our 3 adult children for a family wedding. This place was perfect. Immaculate with a great functional floor plan. Property management had great communication from booking until check out. They answered all of my questions quickly and professionally. The house is truly only a few blocks from the beach. The location is perfect - very close to the beach, easy bike path access, close to island entrance, but also not far from Sanctuary and Night Heron Park. The house was clean upon arrival and could easily accommodate 14 people. We especially appreciated all the "nooks," which allowed for multiple places for different groups to relax, chat, eat, watch TV, etc. The hot tub and pool were big hits, particularly with the kids (even if we had to plan ahead a little to ask for heating). The kitchen is well-equipped and well laid-out - it made prepping and serving food for a big group very easy. The separate wine/drinks fridge was a useful touch too. The bedrooms were all comfortable, the triple bunk room and the upstairs in general were super for the kids. The driveway easily accommodated four vehicles and rented bikes. When we got there, everything was ready for us. 5 minute walk to the beach and the pool was great. Plenty of equipment for the beach and the two bikes were a fun option. Communication was prompt and friendly and there was plenty of room for extended family to all stay together with 6 bedrooms and lots of different “hang out” spaces. The home offers more than enough rooms and plenty of private reading/chilling nooks! The pool was clean and the beach was only a few min walk away. Everything was provided for us, including beach towels. Harris Teeter is only 3 miles away and carries everything one could possibly need. Owners were very responsive letting us know the check-in process and providing car passes several days before arrival giving our group time to coordinate. We will definitely be back! ##### Barb W. Oct 4, 2025 #### Kiawah family getaway @ Nature's Haven Ten of my adult family members stayed 4 days and three nights in october of 2025\. The house was very good for our purposes. Plenty of bathrooms was a great benefit. A short walk to the beach made it really nice. Some of us brought our own bikes and some of us rented bikes.But we had a good time riding all over the island. Steven was informative and helpful with plenty of information that we needed. One minor complaint is that they were not upfront about the extra charge for heating the pool and the hot tub. That said it was not necessary for our visit. The house is exactly as pictured with beautiful furnishings and lots of space for a large group to relax in for the weekend. My only frustration was with the hot tub. Please be mindful that the hot tub is an extra charge to turn on and you have to tell the owner what couple hour window you want it on before 9pm. I get that this is for pool circulation but I would have preferred that this was included in the cost and the owners prompted us more about the usage time. Jun 27, 2025 #### Family Vacation Great spot to gathering the adult kids, significant others and grandchildren for a few day. The house was well equipped, the backyard pool was a perfect spot for a quick dip, and a gorgeous beach only a few minutes away on foot. The house had multiple beach chairs, a beach wagon and a umbrella-- with some toys and we actually left a few pool floats behind for the next crew. We rented bikes, although the house had a couple, and used a local rental company to add the necessary baby equipment. Lots of bedrooms, bathrooms, TVs and clean. We had one issue with a fire alarm that beeped from time to time. The property manager came right over, and replaced the batteries that were failing. Very responsive to all requests and information was clear and always provided in a timely way. We used local takeout and ate once at a Kiawah resort restaurant, as well as played golf.
