With its recent renovation, this vacation rental features a fresh, barefoot vibe that encourages you to get comfortable. This 3-bedroom, 3-bath property accommodates up to 6 people—an ideal choice for a family vacation or a getaway with friends. The open floor plan makes it simple to wander from the kitchen to the dining room and living room, so you’re never far from the action. The cottage’s kitchen is outfitted with elegant marble countertops, a built-in ice maker, sub-zero refrigerator, and Wolf range—plus all the pots, pans, utensils, and cookware you could possibly need. At the adjacent dining area, reminisce about and unwind from a long, happy day on the beach. If you prefer, take advantage of the outdoor deck, complete with a grill and table for al fresco dining. At The Shell Seeker at Sparrow Pond, you have your choice of places to relax and unwind. Step out on the screened-in back porch, complete with comfortable wicker seating, tranquil wooded views, and enchanting evening landscape lighting. Feel free to kick back in the living room, which features a media center with a large smart TV and DVD player. Blender, toaster, multiple pitchers for our iced tea and fruit infused water. It really is a great set up. You will want a bike with a trailer to take anything to the beach as it’s a bit of a walk to lug bags and toys. Once at the beach entrance, we parked our bikes there then it’s another 150 yards (?) until you hit the sand. You can rent chairs and umbrellas at the beach but they are set out only 10am-5pm. We enjoyed the natural beauty of the island and the community of this property. We saw an alligator in the wild, blue heron, and we heard whip-por-wills nightly. ##### Lori B.
