The bed is comfortable, the kitchen has everything we need, and we loved sitting on the screen porch with our coffee while watching a heron hunting fish in the marsh below. The property was very clean and is well maintained. It's in a quiet, wooded spot right behind the beachfront villas, so it's just a 2-minute walk to the beach. The screened deck overlooks a lagoon and has a helpful ceiling fan; we would often sit out there with our drinks and listen for different birds. The villa is perfectly sized for two, and renting slightly off the beach kept the price more reasonable. We were away from the crowds of a beach. My Wife and I discovered the many beautiful sea creatures of sand dollars, star fish, and crabs. Our beach one bedroom was perfect at the Mariners Watch with a walk of 200 feet. Holy Spirit Church was 6 miles for worship and praise to God. What a beautiful faith community. Food on Johns island was delicious at the Crazy Owl and Giligans. My wife and I traveled for my God son's wedding at Wingate Place. Food and the night was outstanding for the Groom and his wife. Angel Oak is worth seeing as a marvel to Our Heavenly Father! ##### paul y. Great location and super comfortable bed. Our only complaint would be that the kitchen is a bit lacking in terms of utensils, plates, and cookware. If you’re just using it for a weekend getaway, I suppose you wouldn’t be bothered. We were there for the better part of two weeks and had to run the dishwasher every day to make sure we had utensils for the next day, had to figure out logistics to make the smallest colander work for a pasta dinner, minor quibbles like that.
