I stayed in five other hotels in Uzbekistan, but I didn't know if I really had to pay for it because I didn't get a separate Registrar bill. I want you to know that in advance. I borrowed a hair dryer and it was covered with dust and sparks could not be used. I choose this hotel because I had heard the manager had a good selection of trips. There was no pressure he even tried to get me to not talk about it immediately. I was in a hurry thoughm we had a great daytrip to the fortress and a reasonable taxi to the airport at 2am. I really appreciated the help and hospitality. We had a nice large room with lots of heat and hot water which is important in November as Khiva is colder than other towns.
