Ideally Located Condo in River Run Close to Gondola, Shops, and Dining!

This spacious 2-bedroom, 3-bathroom condo sleeps 8 with a king bed, a full bed, a bunk bed, a queen sleeper sofa, and a queen Murphy bed. It features two en suite bathrooms plus an extra full bathroom. Private balcony with beautiful views. The kitchen was recently renovated and new flooring was installed. Ideally located in River Run Village so you’re just steps away from shopping, restaurants and local festivities. Plus, you're a very short walk from the high-speed gondola. Expedition Station offers shared amenities including a pool and a hot tub.

The entryway offers mounted hooks and a bench for your convenience while coming and going throughout the day. The living area features a flat screen TV mounted over a beautiful gas fireplace and a queen-sized sleeper sofa. Near the living area is a queen-sized Murphy bed. Additional sheets and blankets are in a closet. There's a two-person game table off to the side. The private balcony can be accessed through the living area and overlooks the shared pool and hot tub with scenic mountain views in the distance.

The full-sized kitchen is stocked with all the essential cookware and tableware to make a meal away from home and features granite countertops and stainless steel appliances. The dining area comfortably seats eight with four additional seats at the breakfast bar. The guest bathroom is located just off of the living area and features a single sink vanity and a walk-in shower. There is also a private washer and dryer in this bathroom. All bathrooms are stocked with towels and an initial supply of toiletries and laundry detergent is provided for your convenience.

The primary bedroom features a king-sized bed and a flat screen TV. The en suite bathrooms has double sinks and a shower/tub combination. A door separates the toilet area for added privacy. The guest bedroom features a full-sized bed and a bunk bed. There is a flat screen TV and a DVD player. There is a private laundry area in this bedroom. The en suite bathroom has double sinks and a shower/tub combination with dual shower heads. A door separates the toilet area for added privacy.

*Please note that we have a minimum age and night requirement. To reserve this vacation rental the paying guest must be 24 years of age or older.

Great Place to Stay

We enjoyed our stay. It was a week or two before the tourist season, so it was very quiet. That also means that most of the local shops and activities were closed. The check-in and out process was very easy. The pool was nice and warm, since the weather was still chilly in the evening. Most nights our kids had the pool to themselves.

Perfect stay!

Perfect location! Host was attentive and communicative. Tons of space for everyone to have their own bed, and a beautiful area to play board games and have family dinner. Kitchen is very well equipped- the only thing it lacks is a blender. This was the perfect stay for an off season trip. We felt like we were the only people around- in the best way! Pool and hot tub are a huge plus. Will absolutely book again!

Misleading Unit and Representation for amenties

The condo is in an excellent location, just a short walk to the River Run Gondola, which made accessing the slopes and activities incredibly convenient. The in-room laundry was a lifesaver for our family. The shared amenities, like the hot tub and steam room, were great for unwinding after a long day. Unfortunately, the downsides outweighed these conveniences. The beds were the biggest issue. One bed was so broken that the mattress folded into the center, forcing two people to sleep pressed together uncomfortably. This is unacceptable for a property at this price point. Additionally, the pillows were so fluffy that they flattened completely when used, offering no support. For a family and two grandparents, getting a good night’s sleep was essential, and this setup fell far short. Another major disappointment was the lack of a grill. The listing showed a grill, which influenced our meal planning, but we arrived to find the condo had no private grill, and the community grill was non-functional. This was not disclosed, leaving us with a surplus of food we couldn’t prepare as intended. While the unit itself was mostly clean and offered some conveniences, these significant issues made it one of the least enjoyable stays we’ve had at this location. We come here annually and have stayed in other units that were far better equipped and maintained. Overall, this unit has potential but failed to meet expectations. We hope the owners address these issues.

Beautiful condo with so many amenities. Lovely and comfortable for our large party with children of a variety of ages. Happy to have the extra bathrooms. The property manager responded quickly and everything was well explained . Only issue was having to check out at 10. Too early!

Night Skiing Next Door

This place has a Hot Pool, Hot Jacuzzi, Hot Showers with an Ice Skating facility next door and It is 5 minutes Walking distance to River Run Gondola, Rentals, Restaurants, Shops. This unit had plenty of towels, blankets, pillows. We kept the fireplace going and heater on 68.. When it got warm, we would crack the patio door. The patio overlooks the pool, jacuzzi and mountains. The Garage parking, fast elevators, with extra shopping carts and luggage carts to transfer groceries and mounds of mountain gear was awesome!

Winter Park to R.M.N.P.

Good location to stay for visiting R.M.N.P. Nice drive to and from the park. The mattresses on the beds need replacing, they're well worn in and you roll to the middle of the bed. Housekeeping also needs to clean/vacuum along the baseboards and behind furniture along the walls better. Other than the mattresses, we really enjoyed our stay! Would stay there again and recommend this property.

High volume rental. Gets the job done. Nothing special.

Nothing great but gets job done for a family. Property was clean. Comforters and sheets are old but again your in a high volume rental. Easy checkin with info emailed/texted for you to access. Kitchen has most of what you need. 5 min walk to anything you need. * as a family of 6 we plan all vacations when possible for a washer/dryer in the rental. The washer/dryer advertised did not work. We contacted property mgr contact and were simply told sorry and just use the public wash/dryer available in the building. We were told a service order (via text because no one will call you… only text) had been placed previously to replace it but that it apparently had not been taken care of. Our loss. Not what you want to be told when you pack way less knowing you can wash in the evenings while putting the kids down/dinner… not having to leave the condo and sit/take care of your clothing. Otherwise we would’ve rented somewhere else. Be prepared that if something is not working/broken and you contact the generic mgmt number you will be told immediately that they are working on it. But also in the same breath they tell you they only have one maintenance guy and they’ll get to you when you can. Guess that’s part of what you get when dealing with a big company (summit county mgmt). No one ever came by once to see what could be done over 5 days. Not once. Just text responses saying someone will eventually come. Hopefully they’ll have it fixed for the next rental. A simple apology or reach out from the prop manager would’ve gone a long way.

Everything we needed in a perfect location!

We loved our short stay. The condo had everything we needed for 5 of us and was just steps away from the lift. We had an unexpected injury and the layout was perfect for a woman on crutches. We will recommend this to others.

Had a better experience last year

We rented this property for the second year in a row based on our first experience. We did have an issue with getting our rented pack and play, but the company contacted us and resolved the issue after the problem. We were disappointed to find a half eaten bagel on the floor, as well as a bunch of popcorn. With small children, you really don't want them eating random things they have found off the floor! The property is nice and well-stocked, but is starting to show age. Dishes in the kitchen are all chipped and well-used. Coffee cups get extremely hot in the microwave on the handles. We LOVED the property in January 2022, but had a less satisfying experience this time. I am not sure that we would rent the same place again. The location is awesome for skiing, however!
