Sunset South (not waterfront) is the place to stay if you are looking for lodging where you and your guests can fully unwind in a coastal chic, home in Key West. The comfortable design and luxurious amenities are second to none in Key West and are sure to make your stay, a memorable one. Near the elevator and upon entering this two-bedroom one-bathroom suite via our secure electronic lock system, one will first notice the high-end interior design the vacation home has to offer. This two-bedroom condo has been delicately crafted with high end furnishings, detailed moldings, and modern amenities. Plush couches with strategic accent pillows, a combination of single king and double-twin bedroom options, coupled with luxurious sheets along with a kitchen that’s fully equipped with stainless steel appliances, dishwasher, disposal and all the culinary tools needed to create the finest cuisine. This vacation home offers the most necessary amenity for a stay in the Florida Keys, a private and rather large, covered porch. Like a local, take a seat and lean back on your private porch to enjoy your morning coffee or take an afternoon break to read your favorite book. In Sunset South, guests can find their view of nearby neighborhood and natural foliage of the “Meadows”, a local term for the surrounding area. Beyond visual accommodations, Bayfront Suites also offers all the creature comforts one would need in their home away from home. Parking is provided for the vacation homes, and for the electric traveler, a car charging station is provided on the property. There is also complimentary wireless internet throughout the property, including the pool and tiki hut. Other amenities such as luxurious high thread count sheets, Virtual Concierges through Alexa, wireless thermostat and just in case you don’t get to the store in time, we provide your first morning’s coffee. Marina offers a serene backdrop and Mac's is a good place for drinks/apps.Not being familiar with the Keys, we looked at things to do. Old Town was mentioned often. "Old Town Rentals" felt misleading, it's not in that area. The convenience to dining, etc. was disappointing. Parking is a challenge and the "bikes available" were rentals (14/day). We walked 6 miles when we went to town. Distance kept us from going as often as initially planned.VRBOs typically are more service-oriented. We sent two messages, one that we'd be arriving late and the other about an issue with the trash, we had no reply to our messages. All correspondence came as automated replies. Hosts often have a binder with restaurants, suggestions, etc. Here, we found a note to ask Alexa; wasn't helpful. The units are newer, but the interior quality felt low-budget. Floors are separating, there's no insulation in the walls, you hear EVERYTHING. The beds made a ton of noise, making it hard to sleep. Towel bar was pulled from the wall, there are no closets, only a small pole with 3 hangars, toilet seat was falling off, ran out of TP, dead bugs on bedroom floors, very limited kitchen supplies, no blinds in living area. Overall, felt we overpaid for what we got. We didn't get what was expected in quality or location. I think there are better values in this price range. ##### Kristin H. Let us store our luggage for free at their site because 10 am check was too early for our flight which I should’ve scheduled a later check out so not the owners fault. Sunshine rentals also let us keep our scooters for extra 4 hours with no charge. They also gave us a free ride to the airport. Smokey’s BBQ right down the street “Excellent” Duval street close. Seven Fishes delicious (a little expensive.” All the food was great, drinks awesome, time here “Priceless” Condo was clean with all the amenities you need. Right on the Marina and enjoyed late night drink outside on the lounge chairs looking at the bridge. Quiet and Safe neighborhood. 5-Star rating for sure and the owner allowed us an early check in which was really nice Bc we came from the snow and it was hot. Our son and his girlfriend had a fabulous time as well. Would definitely Steph rent this condo again! The Dutra’s ##### Sandra D. It needed improvement with functionality: no closets, dresser, or mirror in the second bedroom of this one bathroom unit. No closet, but one dresser in the one bedroom, also with no mirror. No blinds in the kitchen/tv area so at 4:00 the sun is too bright to sit in there. The mattress was comfortable but on a squeaky frame. There was one mirror in the bathroom but with none in the bedrooms it was difficult for two people to get ready at the same time. More hooks would have been helpful for hanging things up. Generally speaking the place is too small for 4 people regardless (see square footage and don’t be fooled by the pictures) but with furniture placement/redesign, it would have been more comfortable/less squished with sofa too close to the wall it faces. The place was beautiful, very clean (including the floors!) and in a quiet, nice and easily accessible area to Key West. Bikes were great for getting around. The waterfront and pool were very nice, but this unit faces parking lot (no water view). Staff was very responsive. We expected a small unit to be designed to be more functional for 2 people for the price. We would go back again if things were made more comfortable/convenient. These touches were all shared directly with staff. All the other units are much larger than this particular unit, but this unit could be made really nice for two people without too much effort and expense on the part of the owners. ##### Lois B. The property manager was extremely helpful and answer all questions right away. Place was very clean and good for families. Just enough distance from downtown if your not looking for the crowds. The location is close to DT but far enough away to escape the busyness. The pool is small but was never busy. The rooftop deck is really nice with a great view of the marina. Nice having a front patio. Adding a few little things would make this place perfect, such as adding full length mirror in the hallway, adding hooks in the bathroom, hall, and bedrooms to hang clothing and towels, providing Kleenex and more toilet paper. Had to buy more toilet paper. I thought we should get a towel change. We had to get quarters to wash towels at the laundry and the dryer did not work well. Four people in one bathroom gets tight and there is no where to hang towels. Otherwise, highly recommend. ##### tanya z. No dressers or closets but otherwise well accommodated. More than a mile to Duval, but we enjoyed the trek. Great pool area. Wonderful deck - we spent the majority of our waking hours there. Only complaint was the required clean up (stripping beds, etc.) was a bit excessive, but everyone’s short on cleaning staff. Overall a very good value. ##### Julia K. I think it's a bit much to ask renters to take out the garbage, strip the beds, clean out the fridge, collect towels for we did pay a $$ cleaning fee. P.S.
