I called the Vacasa office to find out we had to return the fob. Please write instructions that are very clear. We had to make two trips to Vaca office that we hadn't planned on. The only issue we had was determining which gates the keys worked with and only one of our keys worked on the gates. Just a 5 minute walk to Duval Street and surrounding area. You can choose to take the 5 minute walk to Mallory Square for the sunset, or just watch it from the balcony. Being a part of the Truman Annex was great. It was convenient, but quiet. More information about the keys would’ve been nice. The fob gave access to the building, which we knew. The keys were for gates that lock the Truman Annex to public access at approx 5:00\. We obviously tried the keys and they worked, but this information wasn’t given prior to trying it ourselves. We also had to search for the stairs and trash room, as the doors in the building aren’t marked. A map/layout of the building/grounds would be nice to have in the unit. Also, we could see the pool, but had to walk around to discover how to access. The unit itself was roomy, clean and perfect for two couples Neighbors below weren’t friendly. I realize this is their permanent home, but they didn’t even return normal greetings. The only time they spoke to us was to tell us that we were making water fall down on them - “water” in question was residual water from a storm the night of our arrival, and a rainstorm during the week. It made us feel like we had to tiptoe around them and that they might complain for any little noise or action they didn’t like. We were respectful of the noise level, of their privacy, and weren’t even in the unit most of the time. Would rent again if those residents weren’t living there. ##### Christine H. The only problem we had was through Vacasa, the keys we were given did not work on the gates properly. We had to call because of the iguana poop all around the swimming pool and was told by the Vacasa that maintenance is done once a week and if we wanted to pay extra, they would send someone that day. That is unacceptable. Anyone could have stepped in it and then got it in the pool. You’ll definitely need eyepatch if you’re sensitive to the morning sunlight because it comes right in through the bedroom windows. Luckily, I had purchased them for the trip. It was a pain to have to return the keys back to the Vacasa office prior to leaving it would make more sense just to leave them in the condo rather than make a special trip to drop the keys off. ##### Julie S. Our condo was very nice although we had several issues with accessing the building when we first arrived and then the door didn’t lock. It was not easy getting in touch with someone from Vacasa and each time I reached someone they conveyed the issue incorrectly to the local handyman (I guess that was his role). That was a little frustrating. Parking was also not ideal since you could only Park 1 vehicle. We rented a golf card for the day and had to pay for street parking when we stopped briefly back at our condo. The pool while nice was hotter than the temp outdoors which didn’t make it very refreshing. Clean, well maintained, comfortable beds/furniture, plenty of kitchen supplies-pots, pans, dishes, utensils. Check in at front door call box was slow. We followed the call box directions several times without results, until we finally received a recording that allowed us to leave a message. Soon thereafter, a security guard arrived on a bicycle and let us into the building. Glad it wasn't raining as we were waiting outside with our luggage. No further entry issues during the week. VRBO called a few times during the week to make sure we were comfortable and satisfied. Nice touch. The view from the balcony is incredible - lots of boating activity, sunsets, pleasant neighbors. Easy walking distance to almost everything in town, but safely gated and extremely quiet. We love this unit. It exceeded our expectations and we plan to return again. ##### Laura J. Close walk to museums, excitement of Duval street, and docks for water activities. Beautiful sunsets from the balcony. An oasis when a quiet evening was in order from all the activity during the day.
