It seemed pretty new and the kitchen was well equipped. There were a couple of decent restaurants close by too. We had never stayed in Key West, so the distance from this house to the main area of the city was quite significant because of the traffic. So i would not stay here if you want to be closer to the action of town. And there is considerable noise outside: the house is very close to the highway and the Navy fighter jets are super loud as they fly over the house on occasion. Also, they heat the pool and it is way too hot to swim in - so just make sure to request it be turned down/off. They also have a dock which is nice if you have a boat, which we found was important to the experience of visiting Key West. ##### Martha P. Location was good a quick Uber ride to all the local hotspots. Everything was clean and the pool and views were awesome! Large, lots of beds, clean and new, and an amazing view. However we had a pretty poor experience with the property management company. We tried to get in touch with them several times by email without a reply, and then every time we finally got someone on the phone we got a different response to our questions. There was a tropical storm this weekend and we wanted to know in advance if there were any precautions we could take or needed to be aware of to take care of the house and there was no support. We asked about a late checkout and were told we could stay until 1pm for a fee, but then later told we could not. When my mother called this morning she was very rudely spoken to and nearly scolded for even considering we could stay late. We had a wonderful trip but the management company made the experience a little less enjoyable than expected and they were extremely unhelpful. ##### Cheyenne G. The property manager called a few minutes after our check in time to see if we got in with no issues. Upon arrival there was a smoke detector that had a low battery and the pool needed some attending to.. both issues were handled quickly! The kids loved the pool and the location was a convenient 15 min drive to key west. Spacious rooms and common space for the whole family to enjoy. ##### Sarah D. The house is only about six months old and very open and modern. The view over the water was wonderful (there is a bit of highway noise but not too bad). The house was very comfortable and had all the things you needed to enjoy your stay. One thing of note is that a lot of VRBO collect things from the prior guests like pool toys and spices. They did not have any of these things from prior visits so plan ahead. The management company had great communication and I would not hesitate to stay here again. This location was about a 15 minute drive down to the fun of Duval Street. Rent with confidence. ##### Timothy H.
