The space
She is a 45’ GulfStar Sloop built in 1985 with only 30 other sister ships. Her construction is solid core fiberglass with a solid lead keel. She displaces 26,000 lbs. and capable of speeds of 8 knots and sails in as little of 5 knots of wind.

All operating systems and passenger comforts were completely reworked or replaced in 2016. She is equipped with two working heads one in the aft stateroom, complete with a full shower. The other is accessible from the v birth or the salon. Her galley is equipped with an oven, stove, cooktop along with microwave, coffee maker and an 18' cubic ft. refrigerator. She also carries 60 gal. of water. She is capable of sleeping 4 comfortably. She has 2 AC systems which keeps the cabin at a very comfortable level. 2 TV’s 24" in the salon and 42” in the aft stateroom complete with a DVD player and a variety of DVDs.

With that being said, you can have the boat anchored on a reef and snorkel all day. We will provide you with the equipment, fins, snorkel gear etc...

When you arrive, you will either get picked up by the Water Taxi and shuttled out to the vessel. Which is on a mooring ball in Key West Harbor. Most of our guests prefer to get on the boat and stay off the grid for the duration of their stay. Stocking up on supplies at at the grocery store, liquor store and convenience store is awesome. Once you get on the boat, we can go on snorkeling, and fishing excursions that makes the whole Keys experience all that much better. You are the boss...if you want to spend your days swimming, snorkeling and laying out on the deck and then cleaning up and going out to dinner...or a lazy evening on the boat you, decide.

Other things to note
Bear in mind, that staying on a sailboat requires you to be in somewhat good physical condition. Also, if you are over 6'2", you might want to take your height into consideration, remember this is a boat.
