"A Sunset Breeze" Beautiful private home with pool!

Enjoy a beautiful private home located in the Historic Truman Gated Community in Old Town Key West. This beauty if only steps away from Duval Street and all the activities and restaurants of Key West. Swim in the private heated pool with spa jets, large outdoor patio and back deck with grill. Relax on the upstairs wrap around porch. Master Bedroom suite is furnished with a King bed, ensuite bathroom plus an enclosed attached Den with seating area and a queen pull out sofa bed. 2 charming Guest Bedrooms each have queen beds and share a full bathroom and open to a wrap around porch. Downstairs features open floor plan with a spacious kitchen dining area and living room, half bath and French doors open to the private back yard and pool area.
Washer/Dryer, full kitchen setup, towels, bedding, central air, ceiling fans, WiFi, cable and a private carport for one car.

Great location for all of Key West

The location is private and secure. Felt very safe. Short walk or bike ride to everything while still being out of the way to enjoy peace and quiet. Would highly recommend the area we stayed in.

I rented this home because it is listed for 8 people but the sofa bed is located just off the Master bedroom with only sliding doors for privacy. If you shut the doors there is no air conditioning to that room. That room was warm but the 2 queen rooms were cold. The sofa bed mattress is very thin and uncomfortable. There's no instructions in the home on operating TV's, appliances, etc. The TV on the pool patio never did work. There is no shampoo so when you get off the plane you will have to make a trip immediately to CVS. We believed there were no paper towels but found them later in the expresso cabinet. There was no working lights in the pool or on the rooftop lookout but I did email management concerning my safety concerns so they did fix the rooftop lights. If you have younger children you will need to keep an eye in the pool area in the evening because there is no landscaping or pool lights so it is very dark. The air vents have some black stuff around them, probably from moisture, but it needs to be cleaned. A property that charges over $800 a night should be maintained better than this property is in my opinion. The location is the best thing about it. It is in the Truman Annex which is within walking distance to Duvall street. There are other homes in the area though so unless you just have to have 8 guest I would choose another home. Management emailed me back when I listed my complaints early in my stay but only addressed a couple of issues then no follow-up.

Great Key West stay in prime location

Great location, close to everything. Plenty of space for everyone including nice secluded pool. Easy walk to Truman Waterfront for great sunsets or Duval St for shopping and eating. Host was responsive to questions.

Gorgeous house

This was our fifth Christmas in Key West and our second time staying in the Truman Annex. We were spoiled by this property by having a private, heated pool with gorgeous outdoor deck and patio. I was worried about the furnishings and state of the home, based on past reviews, but we found the home in a perfectly acceptable manner. It is an older home that had a few challenges, such as a leaky roof during hard rain, and the kitchen could have used a few additional cooking/baking tools to fix dinner, but it was all serviceable. The location can’t be beat! I’d definitely stay here again.

Good location but mid grade accommodations

Love the Truman Complex. This property has the potential to be really great with nice setting and it’s own pool. But for the price, I was disappointed. The carpet was filthy and the furniture was worn and not clean. The couch needs to be replaced as it is uncomfortable. The carpet was coming off the stairs and the management company was quick to resolve. They were great. I couldn’t find baking pans/dishes which was only a challenge for our thanksgiving meal. Otherwise we enjoyed all of the food available very close by. The location was great. Just need to upgrade this property.

Great home, lots of amenities. Check/In and out was a breeze. Extremely secure, gated community.

We enjoyed our trip. The home is beautiful. Pool, spa, nice bathrooms and showers. Beautiful upper level wrap around porch. Great flat screen TV's in every room, including the outside pool area. Easy walk to Duvall St. and all the entertainment, great food and shopping. Very secure, locked door leading from carport to back yard and locked gate leading to front door. Unfortunately, while we were there the sea grass was overwhelming at all the beaches, no reflection on the home. We were able to go to Zachary Taylor State Park, on the Annex, $8 a day to enter for 4 adults, $7 per car with 2 adults, 50 cents for each after. It had the most tolerable beach, sea grass at waterline and in the water, but no stench. We rented chaise lounges and umbrella as well. Nice Snack Bar with pretty good food and restrooms. We visited the 2 other public beaches close by, but the smell and amount of sea grass on the beach and in the water prevented us from staying. Overall we would stay at Noah again in the future.

Excellent property in an amazing location

Our family enjoyed our stay at this amazing Truman Annex property. The location is perfect. Access Fort Zachary Beach and it’s amazing sunsets on foot or by bike. It’s so close. Walk to Truman Park water front. There is a splash pad and playground for the little ones. The property provides parking for one vehicle, either a golf cart rental or rental car. It’s so simple to get to Duval street and other area attractions by foot, bike, or golf cart. This home is a great size to Host a family or even three couples. We will definitely rent again if the property is available.

The good, lot of up to date flat screens including one on deck. Fantastic location. Decent amenities although sofas are very worn, carpet is dirty, worn, pool shows it’s age. Bed is comfortable. The extra bedrooms are really small.

Great place for price

We booked this property as it was significantly less then other listings. we were not disappointed. the property is excellent. the location is perfect. Short walks to beach, Mallory Square, or Duval Street. We enjoyed the (very) high end coffee maker more then we thought we would.

nice property but 2 of the bedrooms were too small to fit a dresser or shelves to put clothes that did not hang up. the office to get the keys is .4 of a mile away from the property so get your taxi or uber to take you to the office or you will have to walk 8 tenths of a mile to get the keys and return to the property and and the same to return them.

A Well Needed Getaway!

We had a wonderful time! Great location to the beach, Duval St and surrounding areas We flew in and had a rental car the parking spot/port was a definite plus The pool BBQ and deck were great for hanging out and relaxing and the kitchen was nice the few nights we made dinner. Convenient and quiet.

The rental agency did a really nice job with the efficiency of their touch less rental process. Their communication was excellent when we had questions. They were quick to respond via email and were extremely helpful. The property itself was very nice. Open and airy downstairs with good sleeping arrangement upstairs. Just the right size for the 7 of us that stayed in the property. Truman Annex is conveniently located to everything in old town Key West so we were largely able to walk everywhere. The property did have a little wear and tear but this is to be expected in such a high traffic destination. All in all we would stay here again as it was a great experience.

Great vacation

We love this location. We spend a lot of time at the Fort’a beach and Duvall and this is the PERFECT location. The house was wonderful and fit our needs. Nicely equip with kitchen supplies and amenities such as games and pool supplies. We will be back!
