It was designed to accommodate intimate gatherings, with a capacity of up to 47 overnight registered guests and up to 120 total guests for celebrations and other events. There is truly no other place in the Florida Keys like Largo Resort. It's a dream experience, just 60 miles south of Miami. Enter through the 10-foot-high Kong gates, which open to a natural tropical rainforest, down a sandy driveway that leads to The Grand Lodge. The lodge offers incredible views of the Gulf waters, a silky, sandy, white 200-foot beach, and an amazing zero-entry infinity pool that faces the Sunset Pier. Bungalow Row consists of six luxurious suites. The Master bedroom has a king bed, and the living room has a queen/Murphy bed. When the Murphy bed is closed, guests will enjoy the comfortable living room, featuring a mini sofa, a coffee table, two chairs, and a full-length wall mirror. The Living Room has a mini kitchen which includes a mini fridge, a Keurig coffee maker, and a microwave. There are double doors between the master bedroom and the living room, which can be locked from each side. Each bungalow features two full bathrooms, two closets, 2 TVs, and two quiet split air conditioning systems. Sunset, Paradise, and Twilight bungalows have separate exit doors to the master bedroom and the living room. Tranquility, Serenity, Sunrise bungalows have one exit door, located in the living room. The room did have some ants getting in, but it was still really clean. We didn’t spend much time here because we were busy seeing other things. I do wish we had one of the bungalows closer to the water in our price range since we were there M-F and others guests seemed to come and go but that’s just me being picky!! The pool is fantastic, the view and amenities are wonderful and the customer service was perfection. Had plenty of towels, toiletries, Nespresso was a great bonus. Had pool toys for kids, hammocks, hammock chairs, corn hole boards, etc. if you are looking for a peaceful, clean and a stay at a minimalist type resort, this is it. WE LOVED IT! We came to Key Largo to celebrate my husband’s birthday with a dive vacation in the keys. Largo resort was the perfect place to make our stay amazing. Really comfy beds, beautiful pool, picturesque dock to enjoy spectacular sunsets, and an incredibly friendly staff! Also, if you’re going to go diving in Key Largo check out sail fish scuba as well. They are a smaller charter company, so the dives feel a lot more personal than the larger charters. We had some really memorable dives with them. If you need additional dive equipment, we highly recommend Divers Direct, they have a huge inventory and a really helpful staff. Best restaurants we found were Mrs Macs, The Fish House, Kaiyo Grill & Sushi. We hope to come back to Key Largo one day and stay at Largo Resort again! ##### Paula D. Largo Resort is a great destination for couples and families who are looking to relax in the beautiful Keys. Largo is like being on a private mini island! From the time you enter the resort through the gates, you feel like you have arrived someplace very special. While sitting poolside, you are surrounded by the lush landscape with views of the bay from the infinity pool. Spa-like music gently filters through the outdoor speakers while you bask in the warmth of the Florida sun. You may be joined by some locals - the ibis (common birds) and iguana visit daily. We stayed in the Twilight Bungalow and all are appointed with the same "Key-like" decor. The interiors are impeccably decorated and cared for - the resort staff is amazing. The bungalows are the perfect feel for a stay in the Keys. The refrigerators are large enough to store an ample amount of snacks, cold beverages and ice. We were lucky enough to receive celebratory gifts which were presented with fresh cut flowers and greenery from the resort - if you are celebrating a special occasion consider the resort's offerings. You are a short drive to many great restaurants and bars - we enjoyed them all. We explored the lagoon on the stand-up paddle boards and there are many toys for the pool and lagoon on site. We had a fun day fishing in the flats and savored dining on our fresh catch. On our final night, we sat in the gorgeous carved wooden sofa, under the large tiki hut, watching the sun set and the lagoon turn to glass. We were only joined by a dolphin who spent about a half hour feeding on the jumping fish nearby! The resort is very intimate. We have recommended Largo to our friends and look forward to visiting again! We bought the in-room bath gel when we got home just to reminisce of our time spent at Largo!
