This lovely Ketchum home is perfect for your next getaway, especially if you'd like to take the family dog along. On a beautiful summer evening, relax out on the deck and take in the wonderful mountain view while dinner sizzles away on the gas grill. In the winter, after a day on the slopes, you can come back and ease those tired muscles in the private hot tub!

Bald Mountain at River Run is just over a half a mile away. In the summer, you can hike, bike, or go paragliding. In the winter, you can take advantage of the world-class runs for skiing and snowboarding. Walk to Downtown Ketchum, half a mile away, and enjoy dining, shopping, and a variety of entertainment. You can head into Sun Valley, two miles away, for a night of music at the Pavilion, horseback riding at the Sun Valley Stables, and more!

2 day getaway.

The place is nice. Great views, close to downtown. Not extremely clean. The floors were dirty,. Looks like the stairs haven’t been vacuumed in awhile. White dog hair on the furniture. My pillow smelled like men’s cologne. For a 200 dollar cleaning fee they should do a better job.

Great location, roomy, quiet and kids loved the hot tub!! We were out biking, hiking and paragliding, so we were only here in the evenings. Dogs are allowed, so if you're not used to seeing hair laying around here and there, this might not be the place for you. It fit our needs perfectly!

Some significant problems

Good: Roomy and bright, great location, nice backyard Not so good: Downstairs sleeping area open to stairway, noisy and no privacy, downstairs bath tiny, no coffeemaker (mgr. provided a tiny 4c Mr. Coffee when we complained), no remote for DVD so not functional. Grill was dirty. Terrible: The at least 30 year old refrigerator failed in the middle of our stay. We were provided a mini-fridge, like you get in a motel room, for the last 4 days of our stay - the promised repair man never appeared, and we never heard from management again about it. We had a lot of frozen food (including lobster) that was spoiled. Bottom line, this could be great place for a family, not so much for two couples. And the owner needs to upgrade the appliances if he wants to justify the rental price. The attitude we got from mgt. was “oh, too bad, but refrigerators fail”- well, 30+ year old fridges fail a lot more often than newer ones. And watch the fees, they are very high for this unit.

Nice and bright

Nice and bright house on the outskirts of town. Pros: Ample parking, quiet location, hot tub, comfy beds, nice shower. Con: I do feel that the house could have done with a major spring clean. Overall, we were really happy with our choice of house and stay.

Clean modern house

We enjoyed our stay here. The property was clean, with modern appliances, everything as advertised. It was nice to have a garage and a private driveway. The property management company was really good about sending all the info before our rental (and let us know that the hot tub jets won't be functional for our stay). I don't think they monitor Homeaway app messages though (ours went unanswered), but there is a 24 help line, so it wasn't a problem. One of the bedrooms is in the foyer area by the entrance (as shown in photos), I wouldn't plan on having privacy in that one, although it's a very nice bedroom otherwise, big TV and comfortable beds. The property has a big beautiful back yard, excellent for BBQ or just relaxing. Overall, we recommend this place.

Great location

Overall enjoyable. The upstairs gets very warm and we were saved by the wonderful back yard and did most of our eating and entertaining outside. Two couples shared the property and there was good independent living space. The property could get a bit cleaned up, lots of junk and a car with a flat tire in the driveway.
