I thought the hotel was clean and upkept. What made this stay stand out were the employees. Every employee we encountered were kind to us. The young man who checked us in was a delight. He was kind, warm and courteous. The ladies who cleaned the rooms were quiet and made sure to not be in your way. The breakfast served was delicious and plentiful. I must admit that this is usually the kind of service I receive from all La Quinta Inns.

Really had zero complaints..I liked the large field for letting dogs run, and Wahoos restaurant down the road was awesome..I never heard any noise from other rooms..both the mavericks and the Stars playoff games were on the TV...all good.

My family and I booked 4 rooms at this property. The staff was friendly and attentive however, our room had a musty odor coming out of the AC unit. At first I thought it was just our room but when i helped my parents and sibilings in there rooms they had the same odor in their rooms. Also our rooms could use a better cleaning the floors felt dirty, lamps had dust and desk area wasn’t wiped down. On our way out of the elevator we saw a large roach.

Terrible experience had two toddlers. I couldn’t even feed because the phones in the room didn’t work front desk couldn’t help me and I couldn’t get any cell phone service. Didn’t even get to stay the night. Had to leave and go home so I could feed my children.

The staff was great! The room A/C unit was blowing out a bad soured musty odor. It made the room have a putrid smell. The bathroom had a wall that had been repaired and was plastered but not painted. The hotel overall seemed nice but my room seemed like a 1 star.

We stayed in room 110 and it reeked of cigarette smoke even though it's a "smoke free" hotel. I told the front desk and she apologized but offered no fix. Later I went and asked for air freshener and possibly clean bedding and was handed the clean bedding and so my husband and I changedd the bedding. That helped but the bed and the pillows smelled heavily of smoke. It was an awful night of smelling smoke and the air freshener they used to try and mask it.. we have stayed here several times but that was the last tine we will make that mistake.

Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your stay. We are not sure what may have been the issue. We checked the room, after you checked out and we did not smell a cigarette smell. We were prepared to shut the room down. We did not have to and, the next guests had no issues. We charge people who abuse our rooms with smoking 250, plus they are told to leave right away. We are very sorry, we would have been more than happy to move you to a new room but, we stay very full and sometimes, it isn't possible to move a guest. LaQinta has a general standard that I’m used to. This facility seemed “tired”, a little beat up. The walls were banged up and repaired haphazardly, the paint touchups didn’t really match. Dirt had collected in the corners. Oddly enough my cousin made a random comment about it without knowing we had just stayed there. She expressed a similar sentiment.

The lobby and breakfast areas are kept clean and updated. The elevator worked well. Breakfast was okay. They had scrambled eggs, potatoes and sausage as hot dishes. Parking was easy and the area surrounding the hotel looked safe. The hallway carpets and room carpets look like they could use a room a good steam clean. There is no fan in the bathroom so the bathroom doesn’t air out well. This is probably why there is mold on the wall next to the tub. The floor gets wet super fast and doesn’t dry. Towels ere super thin but clean. The stair halls were dirty and smelled and had rubbish on them for 2 days. I don’t recommend taking the stairs. The air conditioner smells when you turn it on. The room smells weird and probably needs the air filters changed. There were stains on the pillow and the carpets. Found petrified candy under the pull out sofa. When I was checking under the bed before I left to look for missing items there were balled up clumps of “something” under the bed. Not sure if it was dust or just damaged carpet. The place seemed dirty but I am thinking that could just be due to Kerrville. It was windy and dust stuck to us constantly. My car was covered in a light film of grime when we left. That is how the room felt to me. However I read the reviews before booking here so I knew most of these issues. If you just pretended you are staying with your kooky Aunt Edna then it is easier to accept. There were no bugs, I felt safe and I slept well.

The staff was very nice and professional. This hotel was highly rated, but i am not sure how. The hotel was booked full on a Wednesday night and was very noisy. The walls seemed to be thin and you could hear the TV on both sides of my room. The room was dirty. There was hair on the sheets and on the bathroom sink. There was an old grape under the chair, and there was writing on the mirror near the bathroom that was not cleaned off. The writing appeared to be done with soap. Lastly, the room had an odor of a sweaty man. This room reminded me of a Motel 6, not a La Quinta. Disappointing.

Need better housekeeping
The room was not clean the pull out couch had some kind of hair all over the cushions. There was a huge red spot on the floor and something splattered all over the walls. The bath tub had mold everywhere, I bought supplies to clean it. The breakfast was very nice and the customer service was great. We needed the laundry and the dryer was broken and the washer was really dirty.
