With two bedrooms, two generous bathrooms, and a separate laundry, Gulah is a serene haven among the gum trees for your next coastal getaway. Perched along the ridge of Kennett River, the property overlooks the stunning Great Otway National Park, offering distant ocean views toward Wye River. The setting was serene — waking up to the sounds of birds and being enveloped by greenery was exactly the kind of escape we were looking for to unwind.The property is located half way between Apollo Bay and Lorne, making it perfect for day trips along the Great Ocean Road. We loved feeding the birds from the balcony, playing boardgames and cooking on the Weber bbq while enjoying views of the ocean on one side and valley on the other. The location was great, only a few mins away from walks in the Otway ranges, beaches and rock pools. We even saw a koala from the kitchen window. The house itself is simply beautiful, relaxing, very clean, well appointed and had everything we needed. Unfortunately the weather was unseasonally awful, with poor visibility due to cloud and rain, so the views were largely wasted over the 4 days. There was no internet, which added to our woes in the bad weather. (I'm sure our stay would have been more enjoyable in beach-friendly temperatures.)
