You can relax on the banks of our wild natural pond or make yourself at home in one of our luxurious farmhouse cottages. Our stylish country cottages are recently renovated and fully modernized. The Corn Store is a spacious and welcoming two bedroom holiday cottage, finished to a high standard in a classic country manner. High Thorn Farm is a small family run working farm. Our cottages are located adjacent to the farmyard, but are within their own separate grounds with separate entrance. The Corn Store is one of 3 cottages. (The others are The Granary- Property ID 6559538, and The Den- Property ID 6484754) We hope this property will make your holiday truly memorable. The Corn Store is Unique and quirky, bursting with charm and old-world class. Porch - Ample space for coats, boots etc. Additional lock up storage facilities are available for your bikes, fishing gear, saddles and most anything else you care to bring, with our compliments. The cottage is spacious and cleverly arranged, with the lounge on the upper floor to take advantage of the beautiful views and farm animals (keep an eye out for the Peacocks). The location was great and close to Scafell Pike, Kendal and Windermere for sightseeing, supplies and walks in nature. The facilities are great with everything you could need within a traditional well appointed space. The location is great and feels isolated but is within easy reach of Kendal.
