We (3 adults) had a fantastic stay in Kekaha! The home was perfect for our needs and very well-stocked. A 2-minute walk to the beach and a 5-minute drive to shops, restaurants, and stores in Waimea. The neighborhood is quiet (except for the roosters!) and the home is very private. The owners were very responsive (ahem, sponge delivery :-) and friendly. Check in/out was a breeze. We would definitely rent the Nene Nest again and I highly recommend you do as well. ##### Kim H. The well equipped cottage is a two minute walk to the beach, a short drive to explore Waimea Canyon, and just about an hour to the other side of the island. Set in a local neighbourhood and with so much love for detail, it felt a little bit as though we would actually live here. The location was great- close to the trails and Waimea Town itself in case we wanted to go out and eat or get groceries. The house was comfortable and in a very quiet location. Steps to the beach for sunsets, short driving distance to swimmable beaches. If you’re looking for a good home base to explore this area, I highly recommend the Nene Nest. ##### Erika F. Love that the whole property is surrounded by hedges with a large lawn. Very convenient location while being away from the crowds.
