The house has a farm feel but close to necessities. The layout provided some privacy for guests upstairs. Ample paper/plastic products and toiletries provided for our stay. Plenty of bath towels also.
We had one issue during our stay that was promptly addressed. Would stay here again!
This was a great getaway. The house is clean and redone and very private. Farms and mountains are all around. We could see animals grazing directly across the street from us! Outdoors steps leading to the parking spot are broken, so take care.
The property on the inside was just as described in the listing. There was plenty of room and it was very clean. However, the listing showed a fenced in backyard which was not accurate. This was a disappointment because we took our two dogs. Also, the yard desperately needed mowing.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay at this property again.
Nice old house, updated but kept some of the original features. Pretty area, we really enjoyed grand caverns nearby and lots of nearby trails for hiking and biking.
I'd like to say that we would give this house a 4.5! It was perfect for us and the pups. Fun location. You thought of many things-nice towels, dog friendly floors, pet trash in the yard, lots of hooks and closets. Several suggestions- warmer bed blankets, it was cold when we were there. You need a big pot and fry pan. Directions for the TV. We WILL rent this house again!!! Thank You!
We should be compensated because we have to deal with the cockroaches all the time. They should not bring people in if they have this problem I hope you do something about it and also don’t let other people deal with this problem.

Enjoyed the views and the rooms were nice. Outside was very charming but feel the inside has so much potential. Furniture in living room could be more comfortable and inviting. We had been forewarned about potential insects due to the weather. But the biggest issue was cockroaches in the kitchen. We also couldn’t find the living room remote and reported it. We could use the bedroom remote instead but they didn’t deliver a new one until two days later.
The facility was very nice for an old house. Very close to the Massanutten Resort and town. The house was very warm with temperatures outside below freezing. It is a new listing on Vrbo and the house has limited items to use if you are cooking alot.
The house was laid out very well for kids to go and hang out in different places. The propane grill was the perfect touch to the back porch. There were a couple of things that I felt like could have been a little better but I had that conversation with TripForth and they were willing to work with me. Overall, I would probably stay again. The location is great, nice quiet place. But they do mention it in their listing info, being extra blankets!

Great house but a few service problems
Lovely place. But I didn't get check out instructions until i had left! Also towels and sheets weren't available when we arrived Nancy
I asked if there was cell phome reception at this property, I was told yes but check with my specific carrier. Bottle line is there is not reception at the property. Luckily I was provided the wifi log in information. The combination I was given for the door was wrong. I was able to log into the wifi outside the house to be able to call and get it worked out. This would have been a much bigger deal if I had to drive back to town for cell reception. We got in and the place smelled like cigarette smoke, but that seemed to disapate or we got used to it. The house is old but clean and well kept. It bummed. worked well for us to take day trips from. Overall we liked the place and would recommend it to others.

Thoroughly disappointing. No house number or sing, no path to door, crumbling step, cracked concrete porch, they did the landlord special and painted over the original wood floors and antique knobs and locks, no comfort decor (no throw pillows, no blankets on the couch), furniture was the same cheap stuff from motels/Massanutten, and communication was horrible. I've only been disappointed with VRBO stays twice, BOTH were run by TripForth. It just feels like every chance they could, they cut costs. They even want you to start the dishwasher AND a lot of laundry for them. Other places are going at least a little above and beyond, nothing here. They did nothing more than the absolute bare minimum to keep renting it.
