"Nice old (1887) guest house. Space was nice and breakfast was very good. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. My only concern would be if the temperature was hot, as there is no AC. It was fairly cool when we were there so we could open window."

"Breakfast included - cereals toast hot and cold drinks, yoghurt, muffins. Rooms dated but quaint, comfy beds. Air con good. Hot water."

"Visiting the Carrington was a trip back in time. A beautifully appointed hotel, attentive service, and scrupulously clean. We had a non ensuite room but the individual locked “bathrooms” in a shared facility were fine. The hotel bar and lounge area was a great place to relax after a day of local exploration. We will be back."

"Room was basic but clean. Nice view from the window. Located on the highway, therefore traffic noise is expected. Mattress was extremely firm, would have been comfortable with a topper. Plenty of parking available."
