From the time I arrived, I felt comfortable. Security was in the parking lot to ensure the property was secure and people not staying at the hotel were escorted away. The check in process was very quick and easy. All staff members were friendly and helpful. The room was clean, stocked with all items needed and comfortable. The restaurant and bar area on top of the hotel lends to the best view of Boudhanath close by. The spa is wonderful. The hotel does not have a fitness center but that would be my only complaint. This place is a definite recommendation for anyone staying in Kathmandu. Highly recommend. Others maybe be cheaper but cleanliness and sanitary conditions are worth the cost. Trust me. I tried the cheaper options first. I have stayed at many hotels while in Kathmandu Nepal. So far, Tibet international has far exceeded in any other hotel stay. Proximity to tourist sites, shopping, Excellent food options, and a beautifully maintained property. Check in process was very accommodating and quick. The rooftop Bar and restaurant are very convenient and provide beautiful picture opportunities. The spa is located on property and is a very nice addition. I would say the only thing missing is a fitness center or gym of some type but small concession when I think about my experiences at other hotels. This was my first time traveling to Nepal. For those traveling to Thamel for tourist attractions, you would be much better served staying at Tibet International and taking a short taxi ride. The hotel is clean, maintained and staff is very responsive and accommodating. Out of the 4 different hotels in the city I’ve stayed at, I would highly recommend this place to anyone. They were even happy to store my bags for two weeks while I was trekking in the Khumbu region. Pero nunca funcionó el wi-fi en la habitación en los 3 días que estuve pir lo que tenía que bajar al lobby para conectarme, y el agua caliente de la ducha era intermitente por lo que resultaba una incómoda experiencia bañarse.
