We are avid travelers and have used many different solutions for housing. Some good and others not. This rental was the very thing we hoped it to be. The Condo unit was clean, very well equipped, and had an excellent lani overlooking the field and then on to the ocean/beach. The view was a quiet one looking out. The pools were smallish and only one of the two hot tubs were working. Some handy reference books on Hawaii and Kauai were available for our preview. We bought and left a wicker book basket (one was already there) but we added more books to the selection for future vacationers. The scrabble game actually had all 100 tiles present! We added a deck of cards to the unit. To be picky, the TV was on the small side (but are we there to watch TV?:). The beach towels could have been a larger size ... but all this is pretty picky as the unit was overall excellent. Unfortunately I had an ear infection on our last day (ER visit) and we worked to leave the unit proper ... but were rushed due to our need to get medical advice, prescriptions, and treatment before flying out. I wouldn't mind an 11am checkout rather than the 10am one. Definitely would like to return to this unit if/when we revisit Kauai (costs are skyrocketing!). ##### Dennis S. It was perfect. The only thing we didn’t like was the beach. The view from the apartment is of burned out cars in a meadow and a homeless encampment on the beach. The one day I went to the beach to hangout, I witnessed multiple drug deals and a homeless persons dog attacking a family trying to swim. I wound up leaving the beach because I felt unsafe. It’s a great location if you are ok driving to other beaches and places to hangout, though. ##### Lynn K.
