Islander On The Beach 258 is newly refurnished with quality, island-style furnishings: 2 double beds and accommodates up to 4 guests. There is a flat panel TV in the studio. And AC ! No resort fee, so you are saving $20 per night! Cleanliness and Safety: In keeping with our high cleaning standards, our units are thoroughly cleaned for every guest arrival. Each property has been thoroughly cleaned and disinfected using EPA approved disinfectants. We pay special attention to high touch surfaces such as door handles, light switches, and remote controls. Our housekeepers are thoroughly trained on the guidelines and recommendations of the CDC. Islander is perfectly located for visitors wanting to explore both north shore and south, each an easy drive from this east side location. Dine out at one of several restaurants in easy walking distance. Or choose to eat in, grilling on one of the oceanfront BBQs or preparing a light meal in your kitchenette (microwave, frig, no stove). Walk on the soft sand beach just steps from your condo, enjoy a swim in the oceanfront pool, soak in the jet spa, and make new friends over drinks and pupus at Islander’s popular poolside Tiki Bar. It’s no wonder vacationing guests keep returning to this private garden paradise! Islander on the Beach is located behind the Coconut Marketplace, where there are shops and eateries for you to enjoy! Across the street at the Coconut Market is a new Country Store (painted red like a barn). Inside is an upscale ABC store, a really nice deli/bakery. Movies are shown on the lawn a couple of times a week there and a really nice jewelry store just opened.There are several grocery stores within a 5 minute drive from the studio. The bathroom has a shower and bath tub. The kitchenette is equipped with a small refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, with dish and utensils. Islander On The Beach is centrally located in Kapaa on a beautifully landscaped 6 acre property, with great amenities including oceanfront pool, spa and Tiki bar. And, just few minutes walk away from great restaurants and shopping! Note: This condo is not part of the Aston Hotel, meaning there is no resort fee associated. Daily housekeeping is NOT provided, and guests are not able to use the on-site laundry facilities. You can purchase a mid-stay clean from our cleaners for a sheet change and towel exhange based on the services requested or you can use the laundromat in Kapaa only about a quarter of a mile away! Islander on the Beach is just a couple miles from the trailhead of the Sleeping Giant, a popular hiking trail. Enjoy! Everything was great except one morning a man knocked on the door asking to come in saying he was with pest control, we were not notified that anyone would be coming. I was getting dressed and after yelling back twice “hold on just a minute” the man unlocks and opens the door anyway to come in and I have zero clothes on and have to yell STOP as I hid. My significant other quickly came out of the bathroom and had to tell the man to leave. That situation really upset me and made me feel extremely uncomfortable. Was really disappointed with the condo. I’m sure it was beautiful at one time , but now it’s just old. Power washing the floor tile and grout, putting that same green in the bathroom would improve it 100%. Wiping down baseboards and even a rug as you enter to put shoes on make it a little more welcoming. No place for beach towels. Your not supposed to hang them from the railing, but other units had a place to hang them outside. The sliding door was almost impossible to open and the screen on the door has a huge rip in it. Seems most things in Kapaa are older, but comfortable. View from balcony online is only available by one chair. The beach chair and cooler available for use on the balcony are old and dirty. Probably haven’t been used in years. Nice that they had a fan to use because the a/c didn’t put out much. It was fine for us in February, but I’m not sure how well it would hold up in the summer heat. The fan could use a cleaning and has a part missing which makes it rattle. The beach is small, but we throughly enjoyed it. We always managed to get available hotel beach chairs each time we went out. Thank you hosts for sharing your wonderful place with us. Hawaii is expensive, so with the fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, blender, and access to gas grill on the property, plus all the utensils, we were able to eat most meals at “home” even without a stove/oven. There were also some nice amenities like a couple beach chairs, cooler, and fan that we used. The eating space was tight, but we made it work by bringing in the 2 deck chairs. I didn’t realize there were also coffee filters and salt/pepper until after I bought some.Property is gorgeous. Pool is smaller but suited the kids. Hot tub was nice. Parking was full when we got there but realized can park behind Wingz n Thingz with a hangtag which was even closer than the main lot.The location was great. Can see the sunrise from the balcony. Near to beaches, bike trail, disc golf, kayaking the Wailua River. luau, and convenient for driving to north and south sides of the island. ##### Stacey C. The location and comfort of the property was exceptional. We would love to go back if possible. This was our first trip to Hawaii. Location is ideal. Coconut Markeplace offers convenience to eat and shop. Suite location was fine with ocean views from balcony, and rather quiet. One negative would be the fact that this unit and possibly others as well are quite outdated. Hence the four star rating. ##### Yervant V. Overall we had a great stay. The floors seemed a little dirty, but overall the property was in great shape. Loved having our morning coffee on the lanai and watching the ocean. We didn't even use the beach chairs. The balcony door was difficult for us to open and open and the handle was broken - the fly screen was torn.
