The Neighborhood: Located close to Highway 89 for easy access, but far enough away that the neighborhood is peaceful. This property is located on a wide street and there is very little traffic that passes by. The neighborhood is wrapped in red cliffs, and neighbors are quiet and friendly. There is a large empty field behind the home, so there is a nice feeling of seclusion. With plenty of parking in the driveway as well as on the street, there is plenty of room for your vehicles or ATV trailer, there's even room to park your RV and have electrical hookups on the north side of the house (additional RV fee will be added). There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views and the trail for K-hill and Pugh's Canyon are just a short walk from the home. Additionally, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, pavilions, and tennis/pickleball courts; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours. Downtown Kanab with all of its restaurants and shops is just a few minutes drive away. Getting Around: This home has convenient access to Hwy 89A/89 which takes you to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, Zion and Bryce National Parks, Lake Powell, as well as the north rim of the Grand Canyon. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away.
