With 4 bedrooms, 6 beds, 2 full bathrooms & a vast open floor plan, there's plenty of room for everyone. Experience Zion, Bryce Canyon & the Grand Canyon & then come home and relax. You'll also have access to amenities such as pools (both indoor & out), hot tub, pickleball court & more. The Space: Prepare for an enchanting escape to southern Utah! At Spirit of the Rock, we're committed to ensuring you experience the best of Kanab. From our beautiful deluxe home to area attractions, we want to leave you with the most magical, memorable vacation you've experienced. Come get to know our home! Spirit of the Rock features plenty of room for up to ten people and pets are welcome with a $75 pet fee. Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy. The clubhouse is just a short walk away and offers a communal indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub, gym, game room, and outdoor pavilion. Clubhouse and pool hours are 5AM to 11PM. The outdoor pool is closed for the winter from November 1st to the last week in May, weather permitting. The Neighborhood: The La Estancia neighborhood is the finest in Kanab. Master-planned, it features a clubhouse with an indoor & seasonal outdoor pool, gym & recreation room. There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Getting Around: La Estancia is just minutes away from the charming and historic Kanab center, with its award-winning restaurants and shops. Our guests can hike, bike and walk directly to everything the town has to offer. Hwy 89 is less than a mile away providing access to our world-renowned national parks and recreational areas surrounding Kanab. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Other Things to Note: Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date. Again, this property is a pet-friendly property and does require a $50 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends. Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy. It's important to note that there are VERY strict CC&R's established in the La Estancia neighborhood. For EACH day any of the rules are broken, you will be FINED anywhere from $100 to $500, depending on the rule. Rules for La Estancia Community: \- There is NO parking on the street whatsoever! You're welcome to park your vehicles in the driveway or in the garage. \- If you bring ATV’s, they CANNOT be parked in the driveway and MUST be parked in the garage. \- Absolutely NO parties or events are to be held in any of the houses. \- Tenants may NOT invite outside guests (friends or relatives not staying in the home) to use the common area facilities. \- Please be respectful of the neighbors who live in the community. Please make sure to put the pool key back in its original place once you are done using it. If you lose the pool key it is a $250 FEE to replace it. We didn’t use the pool but we did check it out and both the indoor and outdoor pools were really nice. The clubhouse was also very nice. The backyard was very nice and we had dinner on the patio every night. The house is also very close to town. Our only complaint is that none of the TV’s were SmartTV’s. The rental company did get us Roku on the TV in the main living area. There were TV’s in 3 of 4 bedrooms but none of them were Smart TV’s. ##### Lisa R. Well-stocked, plenty of room, l comfortable beds, and a few outside seating areas. The community pool was used a lot by our crew throughout the week and the trails right from the neighborhood were awesome for us to do as a group. The location was central to many wonderful hikes and ATV adventures as well as an easy day trip to Lake Powell, Lower Antelope Canyon, the North Rim of the Grand Canyon, Bryce and Zion NPs. We took full advantage of all of the above. The house itself was sparkling clean, well equipped and very comfortable for my husband and me when we were alone, and for the extended family while they were with us. I do wish there was a recycling bin available, but I suspect that is because the Town of Kanab does not offer recycling with its weekly trash pick-up. Kanab itself was a quick 4 minute ride into town with its many restaurants and shops. The view of the beautiful red-rock mountains from the back yard patio couldn't be beat. I wish we could go back right now 😊 We will definitely be back, as there is so much to do and to see that we could not cover in our 5 day trip! The house is beautiful… So spacious, high ceilings, huge rooms, tasteful décor. So clean! Like new :) Very nice, light, large kitchen/dining/living area, with the access to pretty backyard, with fire pit/grill, outdoor dining table and gas grill. This red hill on the background is breathtaking! The house is in a short drive from multiple natural wonders, such as Zion, Bryce Canyon, Grand Canyon North Rim (will open in mid May), Lake Powell, Horseshoe Bend of the Colorado River, Antelope Canyon – all from 30 min to 1.20 hr from the house!… Many fun places around Kanab, too – pink sand dunes, multiple caves, hikes, toadstool hoodoos, etc, etc… Very nice grocery store at the town (few minutes drive from the house), restaurants, museums, fun little and big places to check out. The manager deserves separate admiration and huge thank you!! All our questions were answered IMMEDIATELY!! First time I experienced such service! Really really impressed, so appreciated it Micah! Check in was smooth, but upon arrival there was a note on a chair along with a bag of screws that stated they had fallen out. There was a toilet seat broken, doors that squealed, the washing machine had a bad odor, and other minor issues. The patio and views from same are awesome.
