Guest Access: Clubhouse and pool hours are 5AM to 11PM. The outdoor pool is closed for the winter from November 1st to the last week in May, weather permitting. The Neighborhood: The La Estancia neighborhood is the finest in Kanab. Master-planned, it features a clubhouse with an indoor & seasonal outdoor pool, gym & recreation room. There's plenty to do with state and national parks nearby, but if you're looking for something more low-key for a day or two, consider the local hikes featured on the flyers in our house book: Squaw, Bunting and K-hill, all offering wonderful views. As well, Jacob Hamblin park has a playground, field, pool with slides, splash pad, and tennis/pickleball courts; Kanab City Library is nearby and often has books for sale; Ranchos Park has great baseball fields; Best Friends Animal Sanctuary has great guided tours (they welcome donations). Also consider the local restaurants, bakeries, and ice cream shops. We love some of the local tour companies; they can make your travel time far more productive and enjoyable. Many of them even offer early morning pick-ups from Kanab. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Getting Around: La Estancia is just minutes away from the charming and historic Kanab center, with its award-winning restaurants and shops. Our guests can hike, bike and walk directly to everything the town has to offer. Hwy 89 is less than a mile away providing access to our world-renowned national parks and recreational areas surrounding Kanab. Here in southern Utah a vehicle is required to get around in town and beyond. We recommend a 4WD vehicle with high clearance if you intend to go off-road to out of the way places. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Other Things to Note: Cancellations Terms: Please be advised there is a 3% cancellation fee regardless of the cancellation date. It's important to note that there are VERY strict CC&R's established in the La Estancia neighborhood. For EACH day any of the rules are broken, you will be FINED anywhere from $100 to $500, depending on the rule. Rules for La Estancia Community: \- There is NO parking on the street whatsoever! You're welcome to park your vehicles in the driveway or in the garage. \- If you bring ATV’s, they CANNOT be parked in the driveway and MUST be parked in the garage. \- Absolutely NO parties or events are to be held in any of the houses. \- Tenants may NOT invite outside guests (friends or relatives not staying in the home) to use the common area facilities. \- Please be respectful of the neighbors who live in the community. Please make sure to put the pool key back in its original place once you are done using it. If you lose the pool key it is a $250 FEE to replace it. For the safety of our property and our guests, we have cameras around the perimeter of the property. Some of the cameras are monitoring the front/back door as well as the hot tub. We offer a free concierge service with some great recommendations! Kanab is situated in the "Grand Circle" area and known as the "Hub of the Parks", centrally located among Zion National Park (30 miles), Bryce Canyon National Park (77 miles), the Grand Canyon (North Rim - 80 miles). You can also visit Pipe Springs National Monument (21 miles), the Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument (15 miles), Vermilion Cliffs National Monument (77 miles), Coral Pink Sand Dunes (20 miles), Kodachrome Basin (93 miles), Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area (75 miles), the "Wave"/Paria Wilderness (50 miles), Horseshoe Bend (77 miles), Cedar Breaks National Monument (65 miles) and so much more. The location in Kanab is close to grocery stores and restaurants. And it is well situated to both Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon National Park. There are also other local attractions – Wire Pass, the Sand Caves, and Best Friends pet rescue (the largest no kill pet rescue in the country.). The bathrooms had toilet paper and hand soap in them. The laundry room even had laundry detergent to use! All these little extra things are so appreciated and make the stay so much more comfortable and cost effective! The beds were super comfortable and even having board games was great! Only about a 2 minute drive from central Kenab, in a modern neighborhood with great vistas surrounding the area. Pool was clean and not too crowded in the middle of the summer. Everything about the experience was easy and enjoyable. We didn't watch TV or much of anything really in the house except for sleep, eat and do some laundry. The house is beautiful, the town has multiple excellent restaurants, and there are beautiful hiking trails that start right from the neighborhood. this was a 5-star residence to stay at. ##### David S. My family had a wonderful stay at this property during our visits to the national parks and amazing hiking. It was convenient drive to our destinations of Zion National Park and Bryce Canyon. However, the slot canyons close to the house In Kanab really were our favorite. The house was modern, clean with updated appliances. The kitchen had everything we needed. The entire house really was luxurious and super clean and well taken care of. Beds were all in good shape, we used the washer and dryer almost daily because of all our hikes and excurions. The garage was easy access with remote garage door opener. We relaxed in the evenings as a family with apple TV that was available. Grocery store gas and restaurants were all in close proximity. House is lovely with everything needed for our stay. But we particularly enjoyed the red rock views from the house - especially from the fire pit table on the patio with a glass of wine. Also, Kanab has several very good restaurants that we enjoyed at night. Sego's, Wild Thyme, Rockin V, and Peek A Boo Wood Fired Pizza. We look forward to our next stay! ##### Robin S. We drove to a park each morning (Grand Canyon, Zion, Bryce) and then returned mid-afternoon for a relaxing evening by the pool or playing billiards in the clubhouse. I especially appreciated that the home was well equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals, clean up (eg. dish soap, dishwasher soap, paper towels, new sponge) and do laundry (detergent, large new machines). These extras that were supplied saved us money since we didn't have to buy like I have had to do in other rentals. We arrived very late in the evening and I was delighted to find that there were both filters and a selection of good coffee waiting adjacent to the coffee pot! ##### Monica J. Modern, nicely decorated, comfortable furnishings, and equipped with everything you could possibly need to make you feel at home. Centrally located near some of the best hiking in southern Utah. We were able to find local trails and also hire a guide to explore more remote areas. Micah and his team quickly responded to all of our questions and needs.
