The Mauna Lani Palm Villas is a small gated complex located on the 17th fairway in the heart of the resort with its own waterfall pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Our condo is fully stocked and ready for your arrival. It sleeps 6 comfortably so you can bring the kids and Grandma and Grandpa or four of your best friends. There is central air-conditioning, but the natural cross-breeze combined with the shady location keeps our condo remarkably cool. The common areas, entry and lanai are tiled also keeping everything clean and cool. The 9’ ceilings are open and spacious. Rental includes: memory foam mattresses, linens, dishes, pots and pans, and beach towels, chairs and cooler. Additional amenities: soaps (dishwasher, dish, laundry, personal), iron/ironing board, hair dryer, alarm clocks, coffee grinder, coffee maker, toaster, blender, crockpot, salad spinner, prep bowls, foil, plastic wrap , paper towels, bath tissue and spices. MASTER BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS The master bedroom features a California King Four-Poster Pineapple bed with a high-end bamboo (keeps you cool) memory foam mattress with oodles of pillows for your comfort. A flat screen 37” TV, dual nightstands, a dresser and a desk/chair complete the ambiance. The ensuite master bath contains double sinks, a soaking tub, separate shower, and a walk-in closet. QUEEN BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS The queen bedroom also features a sleigh bed with a high-end bamboo (keeps you cool) memory foam mattress with oodles of pillows for your comfort. A flat screen 37” TV, dual nightstands a dresser and a bench complete the room. TWIN BEDROOM HIGHLIGHTS We have two extra-long twin beds that can be moved next to each other to form a king-sized bed, again topped with high-end bamboo memory foam mattresses. There is a nightstand and dresser completing this room. LIVING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS The living room is a wonderful place to relax with seating for six plus. For entertainment, there is a 50” flat screen Smart TV with HD, HBo Cinemax and Showtime service, internet access to your Netflix or Hulu-plus account for downloads of your favorite movies and shows. KITCHEN/DINING ROOM HIGHLIGHTS For dining, you have the option of dining at the table with seating for six or at the kitchen bar with seating for 4\. For cooking, we have provided you with everything you will need to prepare a gourmet meal. LANAI You can walk directly onto the beautiful, landscaped grounds within steps from the pool, spa and fitness room from your private lanai. The lanai features a table with seating for six, wet sink and built-in gas barbeque. LOCATION The Mauna Lani Beach Club is a 15-minute walk away, on a paved trail that leads through a Historic Preserve and ancient fishponds. Enjoy excellent snorkeling at this easily accessible bay, with lifeguard, chaise lounges and clubhouse. Private beach parking is also available for guests. Additional resort facilities are within a short walk of our front door including two championship golf courses, miles of beachfront, a world famous spa and fitness center with an Olympic pool, a tennis center, shops, and restaurants. The Mauna Lani Resort includes miles of hiking/biking trails through ancient Hawaiian fish ponds making it perfect for walkers and joggers. The new Shops at Mauna Lani features island boutiques, fine dining and a gourmet full service supermarket. Foodland Farms carries freshly caught fish, grass-fed Big Island beef, locally grown fruits and vegetables, as well as prepared foods. All of these amenities are within walking distance from the Palm Villas, making it a most convenient location. Bordered by a Historic Preserve and the Mauna Lani North Course, it is also one of the most secluded complexes in the resort. With only 9 buildings and 44 units spread over 6 acres, it is the lowest density complex at Mauna Lani. This rental unit is allowed a maximum of two vehicles: the first in the garage and the second in an unassigned space with the unit parking placard displayed. Please be aware that garages at Palm Villas are relatively small and may not accommodate oversized vehicles. The condo was perfect for our family, very clean and well stocked. We appreciate the extra beach equipment (chairs, toys, boogie boards). The owners provided spices, condiments, paper supplies, shampoo and conditioner, to name just some things. There were lots of beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards and snorkel gear. The grounds are beautifully landscaped. Sitting on the patio for meals was wonderful. Nearby beaches are great for swimming and snorkeling and are child friendly. The property manager was helpful and responsive. She arranged the loan of infant equipment and was able to give us a delayed checkout time. My only caution would be , if you have boisterous or noisy children, this might not be the place for you. The condo association is very strict about noise control and kids’ activities. We were told our 4 year old granddaughter shouldn’t play ball on the lawn and we were asked to be quieter when she was shouting with excitement in the pool. This was all done very nicely but as we noted, it’s hard to keep little ones quiet when they’re playing. Otherwise a perfect holiday home. ##### Heike J. This unit had everything you need to have a great time. Unit had plenty of space for our girls and boys. The kitchen was well equipped and outdoor patio had an excellent grill with exhaust for grilling. Beds were comfortable and well maintained. Unit was spotless and came with a washer & dryer with detergent for laundry. In the garage, we had umbrellas, chairs, and snorkel gear to enjoy at the beach club which has great snorkeling. It was like swimming in an aquarium, we saw turtles most days. Mauna Lani is a great resort with two excellent and beautiful golf courses. Also the shops were close to the unit and walkable. It is only 30 minutes away from the Kona airport. Barb was and excellent host with suggestions and very responsive to our questions. We took several day trips during the week to see all the spots on the big island and even a day trip to Honolulu. We all had a great time and look forward to going back. ##### Robert C. We were two adults, and 3 teenage girls. Barbie was quick to answer our questions, and provided good feedback on navigating the area. The condo is fully stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our vacation, and we made good use of the snorkeling gear and beach chairs. The house is really nice with comfortable furniture and beds. The kitchen and outdoor grill are fantastic. The house is very well stocked for cooking. All the beach gear including snorkeling is provided in the garage. Bikes in the picture are not available for use. The only minor issue with our stay was noise from the upstairs neighbors. The morning they were packing to head out woke us up very early with loud footsteps above us. That was the only time noise was an issue, never heard the cleaning crew or the next guests that moved in. Overall a great place, I would highly recommend it to others and would stay there again. ##### John K. You get access to the mauna Lani beach club beach and parking which made beach days with our toddler a breeze. We look forward to repeat stays here. Beds were comfortable and there was plenty of space for us and our teen kids. The garage is filled with everything you could want for a beach or pool day - chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, noodles, cooler on a roller. Lots of great places to walk around, very convenient location. The owner was very responsive anytime we reached out, and she was very friendly and kind. Really well stocked both in the kitchen and in the garage. The girls loved being able to spill out the backyard directly into the pool. The walk to the beach was very easy (15 minutes for rabble), although a little exposed for some on the tired march home. But it was worth it since we were greeted by sea turtles literally steps into the water. The location gave us perfect access for what we wanted to explore. The parking access at the beach club was great. Hāpuna beach was fantastic and just a short drive. Would definitely recommend. ##### Ben H. It is just steps out the back lanai to the pool and about a 3/4 mile walk down to the beach club (or a quick drive). The beach club is excellent for swimming/snorkeling. The condo was as advertised with everything you could need for a fun Hawaii stay: snorkel equipment, beach chairs/towels, umbrella, cooler, boogie boards. Condo is stocked with essentials so just needed to go to the store for food/perishables. The host is amazing and goes out of her way to be sure your stay is special. This will definitely be the condo I come back to for my Hawaii vacations! Mahalo and Aloha! ##### Allison F. Someone paid attention to the details. This was the perfect location for us as well. The beaches in this area are commonly white sand, with great snorkeling or boogie boarding which we love. This home had everything we needed. No need to rent anything for beach going! They have many boogie boards, beach chairs, snorkel gear, towels, and coolers. Barbra was great. She was super responsive to our needs. We had a noise complaint with our upstairs neighbors and she reported it right away. ##### Joy M. Easy access to the beach and many fun things The only issue we had was the noise of the many feet above us during our stay. We heard their walking, jumping and at times we saw the light fixtures shake. Thankfully we only had two nights of the 6+ person family staying above us. ##### madame g. It is roughly 25 minutes N of Kona International Airport. From the moment you pull up to the gated entry on the street, you feel like you are in a resort. The condo is well decorated and fully stocked. Our family of six, (4 adults and 2 kids) had plenty of room too spread out. All of the beds were extremely comfortable, and the bedrooms were very spacious. The living area had a very nice and comfortable sectional and one arm chair. The eating area was equipped with a table and six chairs, plus four bar stools at the counter. The kitchen had everything you would need. From two coffee makers (drip and Keurig) to a blender. Plenty of spices and other cooking material was in the pantry and cabinets. Our family enjoyed the walking path to the beach, the closeness of the pool, and the shopping area that had a grocery, juice bar, and coffee shop. The beach toys, chairs, fins and snorkels were a nice added touch, plus there were even coolers in the garage we used for a travel day to the Hilo side of the island. Overall, I would not hesitate to stay here again. Barbara also had a lot of great tips. ##### Matthew W. The host has it fully stocked and amazed by all the little stuff they have. The pool is right outside back door, avale to barbecue and enjoy the quiet environment. Cooked multiple meals, make it easier with small kids. The beach club was great for snorkeling and teaching my kids without having to book an excursion. The host has a paddle board, boogie boards, and snorkeling gear. We enjoyed our trip and felt so comfortable and relaxed. The condo is beautiful, and has all the amenities you could possibly want. Barbra is a great communicator and was always quick to respond to our questions. Our granddaughter loved the close proximity to the pool. I loved waking up and enjoying my morning coffee on the lanai, listening and watching the beautiful birds.
