This was the most well appointed vacation rental we have ever rented. We really appreciated the well stocked kitchen that had everything we needed. We rented a condo at one of the resorts after we left The Horse House that was more expensive, and not nearly as stylish, and they didn’t even provide coffee filters. Since my daughter has loved horses her whole life, the decor was appreciated. Spectacular view of the Mauna Kea. We enjoyed a very clean house with comfortable beds and cool temperatures, much cooler than at the Kohala beaches. I always like staying at a rental with a grocery store nearby which there is here, about 5 minute drive away. Beaches are about a 25 minute drive. We also went horseback riding about 30 minutes away at Paniolo Adventures which was wonderful.
