The layout of the house was perfect for our large group and was spacious enough that we felt we all had personal space.There were plenty of towels and bedding and the house was well equipped. The only complaints were that the house could use a little TLC with the walls being painted and the carpet and furniture cleaned. Also, the patio furniture could have been more comfortable and was minimal. This property is large enough for 10 adults to stay but does not have enough dishes in the kitchen to support that many people easily. There are also a lot of HOA things that make the property less inviting including a gate with a code that is not easy to enter from the driver seat of your car. There is a local grocery store 2 minutes from the location which was convenient. Activities were all at least a 30 minute drive away but the scenery makes it all worthwhile. The gas grill is a little dated but did work just didn’t get too hot.. The location is great, in a beautiful lush, quiet neighborhood - even walking the trash to the drop off site was awesome since you were seeing billions of stars and the Milky Way! There was ample space for everyone. The place was clean and had everything we needed from extra towels and many beach towels to pots and pans in the well appointed kitchen. The owner/property manager was super responsive and eash to reach via text - even after the trip when I realized I left my wallet when I was already back in NC. The beach club is just a short drive from the condo. Foodland farms was close enough to get food on the go. The open floor plan was great for family dinners and games. Unfortunately, we did have issues with plumbing in the bathrooms downstairs, so couldn’t really shower or bathe downstairs the first couple of days, until maintenance had the time to come out and fixed the issue. It was also unfortunate the the BBQ grill was not properly cleaned or ready to go. Mike did come out the next morning to resolve the issue. We also thought the drawers could’ve been cleaned out a little better. Other than that, we had a very nice stay. ##### Izumi O. Lots of space, big kitchen/living/dining combo, nice patios, and comfortable beds. With the access to Mauna Lani beach club, our family was able to test snorkeling before the trip to Captain Cook snorkeling boat tour. Lots of snorkel gears, floaties, boogie boards, beach chair and towels to use. Mike was super helpful and responsive, providing lots of great suggestions about local activities too. Reviewer Comments: We love Mauna Lani! The neighborhood is always so quiet and the grounds are beautiful. Mike was always very responsive to our needs of and when any problems came up. For example we had no full propane tanks for the BBQ but Mike had someone deliver us a tank within minutes of me sending him a text. We also had a situation where the pool was quite dirty on one day but once again Mike sent a message to the community property manager and it was resolved the next day. That’s quite impressive.
