Located right on the ocean, enjoy the therapeutic sounds of waves crashing and watch people surfing right from your very own private lanai! This newly remodeled condo is a pure delight. Enjoy sweeping ocean views from the kitchen, living room, dining room and primary bedroom. With tasteful Hawaiian artwork throughout and an ever-present ocean breeze, being in this home is a constant reminder of how truly magnificent Hawaii Island is. When entering the home, you find yourself in an open formatted living and dining room area. With plenty of seating space for the whole family, enjoy looking out at the ocean or flip on the smart TV to watch your favorite show equipped with a split air conditioner to keep you nice and cool. Flowing directly from the living room is the newly renovated kitchen. Complete with ample storage space and all of the gadgets one could need, it is the perfect spot to put together a small meal or a gourmet feast. On the other side of the living room is a lanai with an additional dining table and spectacular views. Watch locals surf while enjoying your morning cup of coffee and the refreshing salt water air. \*Living room equipped with sleeper sofa\* Down the hall off of the main living area are three bedrooms all equipped with air conditioning and two bathrooms. The first is perfect for children, featuring two twin-size beds and tasteful ocean-themed artwork. The second bedroom has a king size bed and ample closet space. Also down this hall is a newly renovated bathroom for guests and a laundry area with a large washer and dryer for your use and convenience. Just a short drive from downtown Kona, this is a great location. It is close to snorkeling, swimming and surfing spots but also close to ample dining and shopping options. It was clean, well-equipped and perfect for the little one. She really enjoyed the pool, the small beach and the little tide pools. But you must be VERY careful! The waves and tide can come up. And you definitely want rubber soled beach shoes to walk on the rocks. Also, I don’t believe the TV has cable or satellite (or I couldn’t get it going) but it is a smart TV so your subscriptions will work. I asked the property manager about that by text but got no reply. Not a huge problem though. I also used an HDMI connection to stream my satellite service from home to watch on the big screen. The ocean side master bedroom does not hear any of this however. Also it could really use some more basic dishes, like a few plastic or acrylic dishes and wine glasses (there was only one wine glass), and the towels need a refresh. We also only had 3 really worn beach towels for 6 people. This unit is also the farthest from the elevator so something to consider since we had a wheelchair family member. Other than that, it's a great location and has nice updates inside. ##### kim b. We enjoyed the beautiful ocean view in the mornings and evenings and the sunsets. Close to manta ray viewing location. The master bedroom has great views and air conditioning. We enjoyed watching surfers.Loved the ocean breeze & sunset was awesome. Liked watching the tide pools which had some turtles, yellow fish & lots of crabs running about. A turtle visited our beach for a short rest & dolphins could be seen from balcony. Unfortunately the noise on the street side made it hard to sleep. Talking at all hours & traffic noise. Would be nice to have quiet zone as people on street don't realize how loud they are. The condo was very clean & comfortable beds. ##### Christina S. The condo is super clean, very nice, and has the most amazing views. Beds were comfortable and kitchen has most everything you could need. Watching the surfers every morning while eating breakfast was awesome too. We also loved that one of the bedrooms had twin beds for our kids. This unit was nicely decorated, had super comfortable beds, provided coolers for picnic lunches on the go. I would highly recommend. Not sure how recently it was renovated as cracks in shower tile and rust on cabinet hinges were visible. Several outdoor grills need maintenance as most have 1 or more burners out of order. There is a small clean beach area available below the unit to sit, sunbathe & watch waves come in. We enjoyed coffee while watching beautiful sunrises and early morning surfers. Parking was convenient too for our rental vehicle. It took about 30 min to and from the KOA airport. The kitchen was beautiful and we cooked in for several meals. Right down the street there was surfing lessons, lots of shopping and restaurants. We went out to the northern island area for hiking, zip line and horseback riding. The harbor is closer for boating excursions. Overall we had an epic vacation! ##### Carolyn G.
