It is bright and warm with tropical furnishings plus everything you need for the perfect vacation. Located in the heart of downtown Kona, you will have a gorgeous 180 degree view of Kailua-Kona town, Kailua Bay, the Pacific Ocean plus the West Hawaii sunset with the possibility of a “green flash” every night! Kailua Village is a well-designed and immaculately maintained property in one of the best locations in Kona. You will see ocean views from the living room and the bedroom plus you will see the sunrise over the mountains from the kitchen every morning. Enjoy cool ocean breezes lulling you to sleep at night plus ceiling fans are located in the living room, bedroom, and on the lanai. The unit is also air conditioned for your comfort, day or night. You are only one block from the ocean and all of the best restaurants, bars, art galleries, jewelry stores and other shops, plus entertainment. That includes an all-inclusive luau with authentic Hawaiian show, food, and drink, all at the water’s edge just two blocks away! The condo was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We visited the farmer's market several times during our stay. For those that are Elk's members the Kona lodge is right across the street. I appreciated that they had the little things available - like garbage bag for trash and dish soap - so I didn't have to buy all that just to use once or twice. The location was the best - you are right next to Alii drive where there are so many restaurants, shopping, and great views of the waterline coast. My mother and I visited the Big Island for the 4th of July holiday and week afterwards. The condo, we stayed in was beautifully decorated with a tropical theme! We also had the best views of the ocean, the parade and the fireworks display from the balcony! Our host, Vicky was very friendly and accommodating. She made sure the condo was well stocked with plates, silverware, small appliances and other supplies.
