Experience the ultimate Big Island luxury getaway in this plantation-style home in Holua Kai, Keauhou's exclusive new gated community, where oceanfront golf, panoramic views of the coast, and stunning sunsets await. This home is just a 10 minute walk to Keauhou Bay, well known as the best spot on the island to see and swim with the Manta Rays. And just a short walk to Keauhou Shopping Center with fine restaurants, movie theater, and shopping. This bright and airy custom home features central air conditioning, along with plenty of windows strategically placed to let refreshing island breezes blow through. Outside, a private pool and gated backyard create an outdoor oasis for guests to enjoy quality vacation time together.

Holua Kai #32 boasts a spacious open floor plan and high ceilings. The sumptuous primary suite offers a king-size bed, a garden and pool view, and an en suite bathroom with a soaking tub, large walk-in shower, and dual vanities. The beautiful second and third bedrooms provide queen-size beds, and each has its own full bath for total guest privacy. A gorgeous gourmet kitchen with fine finishes such as granite counter tops and solid wood cabinets flows into an expansive great room, where elegant and comfortable furnishings create an ideal gathering space. Every room has a 4K TV as well as a 52" TV in the living room featuring a bluray player.

Huge pocket doors in the great room open to a covered lanai, the perfect setting for a morning cup of coffee, an afternoon nap, or an open-air dinner. Guests have the option of relaxing by their own pool at Holua Kai #32. The Holua Kai neighborhood also features outdoor lounge areas and a lovely ocean/sunset lookout point.

This Keauhou home on the Big Island of Hawaii's west coast allows convenient access to breathtaking beaches such as White Sands Beach Park. Opportunities also abound nearby for championship golf, tennis, snorkeling, diving, and deep sea fishing. Just a short drive leads to endless shopping and dining possibilities in Kona Town. Kona is also home to the Ironman World Championship

Please note that 7 private tennis and 20 pickleball courts are available for guest use for an additional fee. Of those facilities, 5 tennis courts and 8 pickleball courts have lights. Court Rentals are $25/hour per court for non-members. If you'd like to become a member of the Holua Kai community, the court rental fee will be waived. To book a private tennis or pickleball court, guests may call or text Holua Kai's shop phone, and let them know of the day and time you are planning to play. A member of Holua Kai's community team will let you know which court(s) are available.

Drop-in, Open Pickleball Play Schedule @ Holua Racquet and Paddle: Every drop in play is open to members and non-members alike. Non-members pay $10/person for each open play they join. For example, if you play in the 8 AM open play and pay $10/person, an additional $10/person for the afternoon play will apply. However, the Holua Kai community offers weekly, monthly, and more membership rates. If interested, please contact Holua Kai's shop for applicable rates.

Amazing experience!

We had a great experience! The house was perfect for our family. It is equipped with everything you need, from kitchenware to boogie boards and coolers. We also enjoyed the geckos during our days in the pool! The host was very responsive during our stay. We will definitely be back!

Needs new dishwasher and Wi-Fi was inconsistent. BBQ needs service. Only part heats up. These are small issues but would have made it perfect. Lovely spot.

Top choice was a winner!

The property is in excellent condition, quiet and well maintained. Was a excellent choice for myself, daughter and son and his wife. Great location and close to all kinds of activities. Our first time the to big island and we explored by foot and by car. Would stay here again and highly recommend!

Beautiful property, a few cleanliness issues

The property was amazing! Spacious and luxurious. Communication was great, we had no issues checking in or out. The only issue we had was around the cleanliness of some parts of the house. The dishwasher was gross and smelly and when we arrived there were at least a dozen flies in the house that were quite a nuisance.

We had a wonderful time at this location. Very close to Keauhou Bay and all the snorkeling and boating you can handle. Local restaurants and shopping were wonderful! House was simple, clean and plenty of space. Wonderful kitchen. Can't wait to come back soon!

Beautiful house and fully stocked with everything you could ask for!

Everything was perfect except for the rental company wanting to show the house to perspective buyers the day before we were to check out. It was not mentioned that the house may be shown while it was being occupied by renters at the time it was rented (6 months prior). When I told them I have paid too much money to have strangers walking through the house with all our belongings in it, the showing was cancelled. I also find it odd to have outdoor cameras everywhere (front door, garage and one pointing in the backyard). Feels a bit invasive. Other than that, we thoroughly enjoyed the house!

Beautiful House in Paradise

This house was amazing exceeded expectations. Pool was a highlight. We knew it wasn't close to a beach so that didn't bother us but if you are looking for something to a beach this wouldn't be it.

Wonderful House

The house was perfect. The location was perfect. We went and played on the nearby beaches in the mornings and hung out by the pool in the afternoons. The Kitchen had everything we needed. When our flight home was delayed by 4 hours they were VERY accommodating and we were able to stay at the house until it was time to leave for the airport. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Beautiful and comfortable home

This home is immaculate—spotlessly clean and beautifully appointed with furnishings, kitchen gear, toiletries, decor, and pool and beach accessories. The master bed is the most comfortable one we’ve ever slept in while away from home. The airy open living space is inviting and bright, and the big sliding doors leading to a cozy lanai make for easy indoor-outdoor living. Its location is tucked away but still close to a grocery store and restaurants, and getting to town is about a 15-minute drive. The only downside is that the neighborhood is an active construction zone as of January 2019, with crews arriving around 7 each morning to get started—not conducive to sleeping in or to naps for little ones.

Nice property surround by construction not beaches

The location of the property and its surrounding area was quite disappointing. We felt misled because the listing said the beach was only a few hundred feet away when it actually didnt have direct access. It was at least a 15 minute drive. Upon arrival, we read in the manual that any trash that could not fit in the trashcan must be disposed of at a neighbor’s trashcan or in a public trashcan or we would pay a fee. For a “luxury” resort and for the price we paid, we did not feel like this was right and there should’ve been a trash pick up day. The trash was also half full when we got there so there wasn’t even a lot of space. We had to take the trash out to public trash can to throw away because she never got someone to come out and pick up the trash. Communicating with the property manager was subpar. On the welcome email, the lockbox code was incorrect and it didn’t mention a gate code. We had to text her for the lockbox code and luckily a passerby swiped us in for the gatecode. When we asked her, it took a while to get the code... We just felt like we could have gotten a better place for the high price that we paid. We asked for the pool to be cleaned but we are not sure that it ever happened. The community and surrounding area was all under construction and there was no sense of Aloha. I would not stay here again
