But besides that there’s a lot to be desired in this unit. First off as others have mentioned, the parking at this complex absolutely sucks. When I first arrived I had to call the local host to determine why the Murphy bed wasn’t coming down from the wall. She referred me to the condo instructions. I saw no instructions but her information was helpful so I got the bed to work. A little later I went to check out the desk in the corner and what appeared to be a guest book. Come to find out these were the condo instructions. They were handwritten so it was pretty confusing. Nonetheless the local host was helpful and nice. The condo is very small, and there’s no clothing storage. With such tight quarters it would be nice if the space was designed more efficiently so there’s space for guests to unpack belongings or store a suitcase. I never once used the desk so that could easily be changed out for a dresser. Or the closet could be organized in such a way to have drawer storage for clothing. The kitchen was well-equipped but the rest of the unit needs some creativity in design for comfort & efficiency. The walls were paper-thin & I could hear conversations from the condo next door, and they didn’t seem to be yelling (normal conversation volume). Check in person was cold and could care less if we were there. Unit was not clean, numerous partly used perishable items were left in refrigerator, not enough trash bags to complete our stay, no trash bags for bathroom trash can, the television has mind of its own with various odd colors on screen, most horizontal surfaces were covered with dust and grime (we spent first morning cleaning so it was at least tolerable), 2 half used bottles of mouth wash left in bathroom cupboard (really, who would use that?), lack of place to put your cloths because bathroom cupboards are filled with beach towels and other unnecessary items. How many towels are really needed for this tiny unit? Ceiling fan was covered in dust, there is a rusty towel drying rack on patio next to the moldy furniture. The parking situation is the worst ever, having to park along a busy highway on very uneven ground. So all I can say is I would never recommend this place to anyone. ##### Victor L. Walking distance to shopping, food and one of the farmer's markets. I would have given a 5 star rating however, the cockroach problem was an issue. Though it was clear there were attempts to combat the problem with electronic devices and "roach hotels" but by day 2 we were spraying and keeping our food in sealed containers. We did inform the desk associate who was going to be spraying other units the day of our departure and she was going to add it to her application schedule. I wished the check out was a bit later since my flight was later in the day, so next time I would check out the night before or ensure my flight is early. The ladies in the in the cafe in lobby were nice enough to watch my luggage after check out while I went to breakfast and beach before my flight. But wouldn’t come back Well I’m not sure where to start! I don’t want to come off as some annoying reviewer as I legit never review things. But we were pretty upset by the end of our stay so I thought I needed too. First off the property it’s self I liked! Right in town, clean, cute, everyone complains about parking here and yeah it wasn’t right outside but it was easy and really not that far. Pool was nice, jacuzzi, laundry, nice ! BBQ 2 of 4 worked which was a bummer so we had to share with everyone and wait in line. Our place was cute and clean for the most part but seriously COCKROACHES everywhere! We have owned rentals in Kona so we understand they are around but this place didn’t have anything to prevent or keep them away! Some small thing on the wall looked to be some sort of repelent but let me tell u it was old and didn’t work! We had to buy our own which after paying what we paid should have just been included! Not to mention gross! All the towels smelt like mildew upon arrival and had to be re wash at our own expense which again wasn’t cool after what we spent. The ‘well equipped kitchen’ had some weird stove that kept shutting off, one sauce pan that I kid u not made bacon stick to it, some utensils and a coffee machine that like the rest of the place had to be cleaned as it was infested with baby cockroaches! DISGUSTING We emailed ahead of time to ask about beach chairs and the contact said yes but when we got there, there was none. Two days into our trip they just appeared inside our studio and we were never informed of someone entering the property! Weirded us out and seemed really unprofessional Upon ALL of this we never complained once just had a great time enjoying each other and laughing things off! Finally we asked for a late check out as our flight back home wasn’t until 5 and we wanted a place to shower. Upon asking the contact she’s informed us we couldn’t have one! Pretty disappointing after everything else we didn’t complain about it! Spend your money at a cleaner and more accommodating place even if it’s at this inn! ##### Hannah F. The only issue i have is the lack of parking. If you arrive late, there is a good chance you will have to park in the street or in a small lot not far from the condo. But this is the only minor issue I had. The condo was as described and very clean. Great stay. ##### Richard C.
